California Issues Statewide Authoritarian Face Mask Order to ‘Help Reduce Spread of COVID-19’

The Democrats are back to installing tyrannical Coronavirus orders now that the George Floyd riots have calmed down.

California on Thursday issued a statewide face mask order.

California Public Health Officials released guidance requiring Californians to wear face coverings, citing ‘scientific research.’

“Science shows that face coverings and masks work,” said Governor Gavin Newsom. “They are critical to keeping those who are around you safe, keeping businesses open and restarting our economy.”

“Simply put, we are seeing too many people with faces uncovered – putting at risk the real progress we have made in fighting the disease. California’s strategy to restart the economy and get people back to work will only be successful if people act safely and follow health recommendations. That means wearing a face covering, washing your hands and practicing physical distancing.”

According to the WHO, it is very rare for an asymptomatic person to spread the Coronavirus, but the tyrants in California are imposing the new face mask order anyway.

Californians must wear face coverings when they are in the situations listed below:

Inside of, or in line to enter, any indoor public space;

Obtaining services from the healthcare sector in settings including, but not limited to, a hospital, pharmacy, medical clinic, laboratory, physician or dental office, veterinary clinic, or blood bank;

Waiting for or riding on public transportation or paratransit or while in a taxi, private car service, or ride-sharing vehicle;

Engaged in work, whether at the workplace or performing work off-site, when:

Interacting in-person with any member of the public;

Working in any space visited by members of the public, regardless of whether anyone from the public is present at the time;

Working in any space where food is prepared or packaged for sale or distribution to others;

Working in or walking through common areas, such as hallways, stairways, elevators, and parking facilities;

In any room or enclosed area where other people (except for members of the person’s own household or residence) are present when unable to physically distance.

Driving or operating any public transportation or paratransit vehicle, taxi, or private car service or ride-sharing vehicle when passengers are present. When no passengers are present, face coverings are strongly recommended.

While outdoors in public spaces when maintaining a physical distance of six feet from persons who are not members of the same household or residence is not feasible.

The Fed's Casino Is In Flames, But Please Continue Gambling

Here's the thing about gambling: risk cannot be made to disappear, it can only be transferred to others.

Those taking seats at the gaming tables in the Federal Reserve's casino believe that they can't lose. Or more precisely, any losses they suffer will quickly be made good by the house, i.e. the Fed, which can digitally print as much currency as needed to restore order to the gambling.

The punters crowding around the tables have forgotten that gambling is inherently risky. The Fed can digitally print currency, but it can't force punters to play.

Unfortunately for all the punters crowding around the tables, the casino is on fire. The Fed's rigged games are in flames, and Head Tout/Fixer Jay Powell is telling all the nervous gamblers who smell smoke to please stay at the tables and continue gambling, the fire is under control.

But of course it's not under control, it's raging out of control, and to maintain the illusion of control, the Fed is buying chips in its own games: buying junk bond funds and corporate bonds.

The Fed's casino has operated on a simple principle: the Fed digitally prints trillions of dollars and hands the dough to broker-dealers in exchange for Treasury bonds, mortgage backed securities and now, junk bond funds and corporate bonds.

The new currency flowed into financial assets as banks, corporations and financiers borrowed money, leveraged it up and bought back their own shares or bought stocks.

What the punters don't understand is this mechanism isn't guaranteed. The players getting the freshly created dough don't have to buy stocks or junk bonds. They only do so when they are confident that there are plenty of greater fools at the tables to buy these assets at higher prices.

The pool of greater fools is drying up, and so the Fed has been forced to start buying its own gambling chips directly. This is an act of complete desperation, yet the punters at the tables who smell the smoke don't yet realize the fire is out of control and the entire casino will soon be engulfed in flames.

Here's the thing about gambling: risk cannot be made to disappear, it can only be transferred to others. The absence of risk in the Fed's casino is an illusion. The Fed's casino has transferred all the well-hidden risk to the entire financial system, which is now in danger as the Fed's burning casino triggers a conflagration few even imagine and virtually none think is possible.

So by all means, believe the soothing words of Head Tout/Fixer Jay Powell if you want, but realize that words and digitally printed currency won't make risk disappear. Rather, they only increase the risk of the fire spreading to the entire financial system.

Dr. Robert Epstein: On Election Day Mark Zuckerberg Can Give One Presidential Candidate 450,000 Votes

Dr. Robert Epstein, the senior research psychologist at the American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology joined Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large Rebecca Mansour on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight recently to discuss the Masters of the Universe in Silicon Valley and how they can manipulate news narratives and even elections. Dr. Epstein pointed out the tremendous power that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg wields in the 2020 election.

During an interview with Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large Rebecca Mansour on Breitbart News Tonight on Wednesday, Dr. Robert Epstein, the senior research psychologist at the American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology discussed the growing influence that tech giants hold over the media and elections both in America and around the world.

Discussing Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s recent promise to urge Facebook users to register to vote on election day, Dr. Epstein outlined how Facebook could massively influence elections saying: “Let’s say they use an app to contact lots and lots of people, all kinds of people across the board, let’s say all eligible voters in the U.S. to register to vote. In fact, that’s one of the things that Zuckerberg says. It sounds good on the surface, except here’s the problem, you don’t know whether Facebook is reaching out equally to everyone or they’re reaching out in a way that favors one political party, there’s no way to know it and I can guarantee you that they are definitely favoring one party when they launch a register to vote campaign.”

The conversation then turned to the number of voters that Facebook could influence towards a single candidate on election day itself solely by sending out a “go vote” reminder. Mansour asked Dr. Epstein how many votes he estimated could be manipulated by Facebook to which he replied: “On election day itself, Zuckerberg could easily give one presidential candidate an additional 450,000 votes. With no one knowing that he’s doing it. In other words, he could send out that go vote reminder mainly to people who lean in one direction politically, how would you know that he’s doing that?”

Gov. Cuomo Rips ‘Evil Icon Of Our Nation’s Racist Past’ When ‘Noose’ Found In Harlem Park. Then The Truth Comes Out.

A park goer took a photo Saturday at Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem of what was called a “noose” hanging from a tree near the historic Fire Watch Tower.

A Parks Department employee alerted police to the “noose” after the city’s 311 line was also notified by someone in the park. “We are dismayed by this incident,” a Parks Department spokeswoman told Pix. “We immediately notified NYPD and removed the rope from the tree.”

“A noose found hanging in a Harlem park named after a Black icon has left those in the neighborhood feeling a little shaken up, even if the supposed reason for it being there was not meant to be harmful,” WNBC-TV reported.

“I can’t believe that we would see something like that in this day and age, and I live across the street from this park,” said Derrick Perry. Another resident, Sean Noriega, said that it’s “basically impossible that someone got in this park and did something like that and no one saw anything,” given how many people are in and around it at all times, day and night.

The “scandal” spiraled out of control.

Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer quickly called the incident “despicable,” long before it was investigated. “It’s disturbing that there are people out there who would do this, but we have seen these past few weeks that there are so many more who are against what this hateful symbol stands for,” she wrote on Twitter. “Our diversity makes us strong.”

Pelosi Rips Bolton: ‘He Threw The Country Under The Bus To Sell A Book’

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi ripped John Bolton on Thursday, saying that the former national security advisor had chosen personal loyalty over patriotism.

Responding to Bolton’s written assertions that blamed House Democrats for failing to hold President Donald Trump sufficiently accountable, Pelosi issued a terse reminder that House Democrats led the impeachment effort in the fall of 2019 and that Bolton himself had refused to testify in front of the House Judiciary Committee.

“He was so arrogant in terms of the House when we were engaged in the impeachment,” Pelosi said during her weekly press conference Thursday.

Pelosi continued to criticize Bolton’s concerns regarding the president as ingenuine and exaggerated, saying that he should have come in front of Congress instead of saving his fears for his book, The Hill reported.

During the impeachment hearings, Bolton declined to voluntarily testify in front of the House, though he was never subpoenaed.

Bolton said Trump was “not fit for office” and did not have the “competence to carry out the job” in an interview with ABC News set to air this Sunday, much to the ire of the Speaker.

“President Trump is clearly ethically unfit and intellectually unprepared to be the president of the United States. That doesn’t seem to matter to the Republicans in the United States Senate. It didn’t seem to matter to John Bolton,” Pelosi said. “He chose loyalty over patriotism. And so he’s going to make money off of his book, I guess.” (RELATED: Trump Responds To Bolton Book Allegations: ‘What A Dope!’

Pelosi continued, saying that Bolton threw the country under the bus to sell a book.

Pelosi also left open the possibility of Bolton returning to Capitol Hill to testify once his book is released on June 23, though she said that the decision would ultimately be made collectively by her and the heads of relevant congressional committees.

“One thing is for sure: the American people have the right to know. Our oversight will always continue. Whether that’s by subpoena or some other way, I’ll discuss that with the chairs of the committees.”

Asked if she was going to purchase Bolton’s book, “The Room Where it Happened,” Pelosi said that she did not plan on it.

“I don’t want to spend any money for a book that was a substitute for testifying before Congress about the well-being of the American people,” she said.

DA who charged officer with felony murder in Brooks shooting is in tight runoff election

The Fulton County, Ga. district attorney who charged fired former Atlanta police officer Garrett Rolfe with felony murder an offense that can carry the death penalty is facing a criminal investigation and a primary runoff in a difficult fight to remain in office after his challenger secured more votes than he did in the June 9 primary.

Fani Willis, who previously worked for Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard, got 42 percent of the vote in the Democratic primary to Howard's 35 percent, triggering a runoff that will happen on Aug. 11. Willis' campaign has hammered a message of "integrity, innovation & inclusiveness," and she has amplified accusations of corrupt dealings by Howard with his nonprofit organization.

Howard, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, is under criminal investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for allegedly taking at least $140,000 in Atlanta taxpayer dollars to supplement his salary through his nonprofit.

"ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!" Willis tweeted last week, linking to a story about the investigation into Howard. "THE CITIZENS OF FULTON COUNTY DESERVE BETTER!"

Howard, according to the AJC, predicted he would be cleared of the allegations against him, calling them an "administrative matter." He also noted the timing of the investigation ahead of the June 9 primary, according to the AJC, saying it "is not lost on me."

In the midst of the tough election fight and allegations against him, Howard on Wednesday announced severe charges against Rolfe, who fatally shot Rayshard Brooks during a DUI stop that went horribly wrong. During the June 12 incident, a scuffle broke out, and Brooks ran with one of two responding officers' Tasers leading up to the shooting.

Rolfe faces 11 charges including, felony murder, which could potentially lead to the death penalty, and a second officer, Devin Brosnan, is facing three charges, including aggravated assault.

"We've concluded, at the time Mr. Brooks was shot, that he did not pose an immediate threat of death or serious physical injury to the officer or officers," Howard said at the news conference Wednesday.

"For 41 minutes and 17 seconds, he followed their instruction, he answered the questions," Howard said of Brooks. He also noted Brooks "was never informed that he was under arrest… this is a requirement of the Atlanta Police Department."

Howard added: "At the time that the shot was fired, the utterance made by Officer Rolfe was 'I got him' that was the statement that was made at that time… The city of Atlanta says you cannot even fire a Taser at someone who is running away, so you certainly can't fire a gun, a handgun, at someone who is running away."

Justice Thomas EVISCERATES 'Timid' DACA Decision as Destructive to the Rule of Law

On Thursday, the Supreme Court struck down the Trump Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) memorandum rescinding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program that the Obama administration illegally imposed. Justice Clarence Thomas eviscerated this “timid” decision, arguing that by ruling against the Trump administration’s lawful reversal of the unlawful DACA program, the Court had again usurped Congress’s authority and created “perverse incentives” for political battles to be fought in the courts, rather than elected branches.

“Today’s decision must be recognized for what it is: an effort to avoid a politically controversial but legally correct decision,” Thomas wrote in his dissent. “The Court could have made clear that the solution respondents seek must come from the Legislative Branch. Instead, the majority has decided to prolong DHS’ initial overreach by providing a stopgap measure of its own.”

“In doing so, it has given the green light for future political battles to be fought in this Court rather than where they rightfully belong—the political branches. Such timidity forsakes the Court’s duty to apply the law according to neutral principles, and the ripple effects of the majority’s error will be felt throughout our system of self-government,” the justice warned.

In his dissent, Thomas noted that between 2001 and 2011, Congress considered more than two dozen bills that would have granted lawful status to millions of aliens illegally brought to this country as children. Each legislative effort failed, so Obama’s DHS acted unilaterally. The agency created the DACA program without authority from Congress and without issuing rulemaking as required by the Administrative Procedure Act (APA). Ironically, the Supreme Court — in a ruling from Chief Justice John Roberts — decided that the Trump DHS recision of DACA violated the APA, even though the Obama DHS didn’t follow APA when crafting the program in the first place.

DACA enabled about 1.7 million illegal aliens to qualify for temporary lawful presence and receive certain federal and state benefits — a major change in the law that should have required an act of Congress, or at the very least an official APA rulemaking process.

As Thomas wrote, “the Trump administration rescinded DACA the same way that the Obama administration created it: unilaterally, and through a mere memorandum.”

Yet Roberts and the Supreme Court majority made “the mystifying determination that this rescission of DACA was unlawful. In reaching that conclusion, the majority acts as though it is engaging in the routine application of standard principles of administrative law. On the contrary, this is anything but a standard administrative law case.”

As Thomas noted, DACA was “unlawful from its inception.” Yet the Court upheld the unlawful program through an Orwellian justification — that the recision of an illegal order required the normal procedure that the original order violated.

Putin: 75 years after WW2, new global crisis calls for victorious anti-Nazi coalition to work together again

In 1945, they defeated Hitler and Imperial Japan. Now, 75 years on, Vladimir Putin believes that the present global health and economic crisis requires the Second World War allies to unite once more.

In a lengthy op-ed, first published in American foreign policy journal ‘The National Interest’ on Thursday, the Russian president discusses the reasons behind the rise of Adolf Hitler. He also outlines the benefits of the post-war world order, which he now believes needs to be renewed.

Putin cites the weakness of the League of Nations as one of the principal causes of the conflict. As a result, he praises the winners for setting up the United Nations, with a solid legal foundation, to prevent future hot wars between great powers.

Today, with the Covid-19 pandemic, and resultant economic fallout, he urges the chief allies – who now comprise the permanent membership of the UN Security Council – to pull together.

The leaders of Britain, China, France and the United States have already agreed to attempt a summit proposed by Moscow. Next week, the Russian capital will play host to a postponed 'Victory Day’ parade celebrating the defeat of the Nazis.

“A special item on the agenda of the meeting is the situation in the global economy. And above all, overcoming the economic crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic,” he writes. “Our countries are taking unprecedented measures to protect the health and lives of people and to support citizens who have found themselves in difficult living situations. Our ability to work together and in concert, as real partners, will show how severe the impact of the pandemic will be, and how quickly the global economy will emerge from the recession.”

Putin also wants to discuss security concerns. “In our opinion, it would be useful to discuss steps to develop collective principles in world affairs,” he adds. “To speak frankly about the issues of preserving peace, strengthening global and regional security, strategic arms control, as well as joint efforts in countering terrorism, extremism and other major challenges and threats.”

There can be no doubt that the summit of Russia, China, France, the United States, and the UK can play an important role in finding common answers to modern challenges and threats.

Such an event would “demonstrate a common commitment to the spirit of alliance, to those high humanist ideals and values for which our fathers and grandfathers were fighting shoulder to shoulder,” Putin concludes.

The detailed essay – promised for some months – includes a long explanation of Putin’s point of view on the origins and legacy of the Second World War. He notes how “almost 27 million Soviet citizens lost their lives on the fronts, in German prisons, starved to death and were bombed, died in ghettos and the furnaces of the Nazi death camps. The USSR lost one in seven of its citizens, the UK lost one in 127, and the USA lost one in 320.”

However, he praises the decisive role played by all the Allies in the final victory, especially the assistance “in providing the Red Army with ammunition, raw materials, food and equipment. And that help was significant – about seven percent of the total military production of the Soviet Union.”

“It is a duty of ours – all those who take political responsibility and primarily representatives of the victorious powers in the Second World War – to guarantee that this system is maintained and improved,” Putin stresses.

Berlin’s threats will ‘not be left unanswered’ Russian ambassador says, after Germany links Chechen ex-militant's murder to Moscow

The Russian envoy to Germany, Sergey Nechaev, has blasted Berlin for blaming the murder of a former Chechen insurgent leader on a Russian "state entity". Such accusations lack proof and only hurt bilateral relations, he said.

"We consider the accusations leveled against the Russian authorities to be baseless and unsupported by evidence," Nechaev said in a statement, commenting on the latest indictment issued by the German prosecutors in relation to a high-profile murder that took place in Berlin's Tiergarten Park last August.

A 40-year-old man, Zelimkhan Khangoshvili, was shot by a suspect identified as a Russian citizen, Vadim K. The attacker failed to flee the scene and was arrested after the killing.The charge contains "serious allegations" about the Russian authorities' involvement in the murder, a German government spokesperson said. The Federal Prosecutor's Office noted that the victim's "opposition" to the Russian state might have been a motive behind the murder.

The German Foreign Ministry summoned Nechaev earlier on Thursday to "once again make our stance on the issue clear to the Russian side," as Foreign Minister Heiko Maas put it. Moscow has repeatedly denied any links to the murder. Politicians and officials in Berlin, meanwhile, are considering using the occasion to slap Moscow with a new round of sanctions.

This has prompted Nechaev to say that Germany's actions will "not be left unanswered," should Berlin move beyond words and follow up on its threats. Earlier, Maas told Germany's dpa news agency that Berlin "reserves the right to take further measures in relation to this case."

Some German lawmakers were much more blunt in their demands. "As long as top Russian officials shield the perpetrators of the Tiergarten murder, the federal government must not shy away from sanctions. It must also win over our European partners for such a move," Juergen Hardt, foreign policy coordinator for Chancellor Angela Merkel's Christian Democrats faction in the Bundestag, told Reuters.

His colleague from the Greens party, Omid Nouripour, also demanded a Europe-wide response, essentially calling for this murder to be turned into the second Salisbury case. "Germany should [push for] a coordinated European response to this massive Russian assault on its sovereignty," he said. "Like the British after Salisbury, Germany must demand European solidarity against this aggression."
