They aren’t regulating them by policy. They are revoking their use of Google ads on their websites unless they remove the comments section. Even though YouTube, a google subsidiary, allows far worse in their comment sections. It’s essentially a monopolistic power play because people enjoy being able to engage in the comments and without the comments section, it will reduce traffic to their websites. If they don’t remove them, they will have to go with other ad companies that don’t pay out as much as google ads. It’s an attack on both sides. Essentially boils down to extortion.
I live near Atlanta. An officer came and shopped in my store the other day. She was afraid to even tell me what her job was, and when I finally convinced I was not a judgmental person, she whispered “I’m a cop”. She then told me that she had just gotten off work and decided to change in her car before coming in because she was too scared to wear her uniform in public. She said her jurisdiction hasn’t been too bad but tensions are high. Everyone is on high alert. I wanted to give her a hug. But with this covid nonsense you never know what people’s comfort zones are anymore. At least I was able to give her 10% off her purchase. My heart hurts for all of the good cops out there right now.
I sell work boots. Knowing someone’s work helps me get them in the right type of boot.
Nail on the head. I sell boots. Asking what someone does for work is helpful and also an easy conversation starter. When I asked she had a strong reaction saying “I don’t want to say! You might not like it!”
Legit, I thought she was going to tell me she was a stripper or something, which is why I told her I’m not a judgmental person.
Love these guys. Especially now that Adam isnon the Trump train. He was red pilled faster than Tim. Kek
Probably some over the knee Dan Post boots.
Would recommend a gel insole for foot fatigue and adding a rubber outsole for stability.
Kek. I mean I sell other boots too. But yeah. Asking what someone does for work is usually my go to.
