I'm in a city in western NY.
Bars that have been open now for a few weeks have been failing the social distancing/mask on vs mask off guidelines.
The past week these bars have been getting fined for not obeying the social distancing guidelines. 50% occupancy, mask on while standing up inside, it's okay mask off while seated…etc…bs….
Is it legal to fine these establishments for not adhering to/obeying social distancing guidelines?
The guidelines are not law, correct?
