This morning, ABC mentioned the outbreak of fireworks going off recently, saying that it's people who have been cooped up because of the pandemic. Just as I was about to hit reply, I found this article, using same phrasing as ABC. Coordinated explanation? Coincidentally, protesters in Louisville just lit off fireworks near police, resulting in them using pepper bullets on crowd.
