I've done it before immediately after Trump's election. I went away from the net completely - never turned it on - was exhausted in the months leading to his election and ðecided to let things now pan out without my presence. I was content that things would change for the better….
It was one of the best periods in my life - felt the natural world all around me, worked hard but was never tired, bounced out of bed in the morning, healthier…..
….. but the world, at least my bit of it, didn't change for the better. It got worse politically. So I returned to see what the hell was going on in the Trump/USA universe - and there it was, Democrats holding up everything, Russia, Russia, Russia - still! Government closedowns - Trump waiting 'alone' in the White House marvelling at the beauty of the snow on the ground as he waited for Chuck and Nancy to get sense and open Government again (incidentally one of my absolute favourite scenes from the Movie - Trump tweeting about the snow - I felt I was there with him, waiting)
Anyway, I've been back again big time and yep, it ain't a healthy lifestyle and I'll leave again, this time forever, if I only get enough hope that the world has indeed changed FOR THE BETTER!
Right now that appears a long long way off.
