CHAZ cult
I’ve been following CHAZ via all the platforms from the beginning. At first it did seem like a “block party” music festival atmosphere. But let’s be real- you know there are people in there taking the whole thing very seriously. The past week I’ve been getting a North Korea vibe from CHAZ. The day after Fox News reported about “Raz” referring to him as a “warlord”, the self appointed leaders of Chaz seemed very worried and voiced how important it is to control the narrative.
It’s not a block party. I think they are working very hard in there to control what is seen. You aren’t allowed to film. I don’t know why people listen to this… seems like people of Seattle are spineless so they’ll do whatever. I tweeted something CHAZ related and a random person from Seattle responded and they were fired up about the situation. Said he owns a business a few blocks from CHAZ and it’s a shit show. Says businesses want nothing to do with the area. Employees want to leave.
The most recent snap stories I’ve seen also give me cult vibes. If you saw the video of the preacher guy being held on the ground, there are also videos where a group of them are literally yelling and chanting in his face “BLACK LIVES MATTER” over and over. Yelling. It is so CREEPY. Yesterday they were putting up a sculpture… and again the videos of this are bizarre… cult like. Kinda reminds me of scenes in the movie “Midsommar”. Just weird.
I would be furious if I lived there. The mayor is literally just letting this happen. It’s absolutely insane. These people should sue the city. They are destroying the neighborhood. They tore up the park for their shoddy gardens. Imagine living in one of the apts in CHAz. The noise. These people have no respect. It’s about to be a shanty town. I saw the city brought in some new concrete barriers and toilets. So someone is coordinating this? Isn’t that kind of treason? I think many people see this as kind of a joke/meme so disregard this possibility right away.
