i do go to the movies. i'm up there in age, so i'm pretty adept at identifying when brainwashing tools are being used, or when someone is trying to control. essentially, your comment is very controlling. i prefer the "mind your own business" approach. that's a far more libertarian and freedom-loving stance.

i do see the brainwashing in almost every single movie and TV show that i watch. and, i agree, it is disgusting for a large part. but, i think there are some here, with good intentions, who are not aware of their own controlling behavior.

lastly, there ARE attempts here on this board to propagandize on a myriad of topics, but i've learned, like with other entertainment, to ignore and move on.
