Constant explosive sounds in my city. Anyone else?
I live in CA/Los Angeles and have been hearing almost constant explosion sounds at night since right around the time the protests started. So almost a month. I know that the 4th of July is coming up, and there will of course be fireworks around that date. It's not uncommon to hear the odd M80 a few days before the 4th.
This however has been VERY loud percussive explosion noises. Not piccolo pete's and fire flowers. And the fireworks never start this early in the year. It starts about 8pm and goes well into the night. It's also coming from just about every direction, not just one area. It also seems move around, almost as if someone is driving around causing these sounds all over the city.
There are no scheduled fireworks shows and no one on the nextdoor app seem to know what's going on.
Has this been happening in anyone else's city?
I had the thought that this was coordinated…possibly as a way to desensitize the public to gunfire/explosions?
We even had something "detonate" in the ally behind our house. We saw a little flash through our window and a huge Kaboom!
It's getting a little out of control, and my conspiracy-theory-loving imagination is getting the better of me.
