Interesting that a Gates (Frederick Lamont Gates) was involved in the Spanish Flu together with the Rockefellers, especially regarding vaccinations.

I checked the blood line (fathers side, not the mothers) of both and

tried to summarize the current results in this pdf.

The blood line of Taylor can be traced far back to England (1420),

Interestingly there is a very similar Eustache Gates

as a brother of one the ancestors of Taylor (similar in birth/death dates, spouse names/dates/locations…).
