I agree with you there, about not having to try hard to explain. We are here, with the general mission to explain confusing things to normies.
I should point out that if it's that important to show people shit on the computer, it's pretty true, or almost entirely true, that you can put all that computer stuff on a phone. And these days, it appears that used phones are remarkably cheap. It's not like computers, you couldn't get a 10 year old computer for $30-$50 bucks. You can get a broken phone with good specs - including the ability to put all the files you want in a folder on a microsd card and show them on the phone. You might have broken glass on the screen of your $30 phone. You can fix that broken glass, partially, but taking Loca 2500 uv glue, putting that on the screen, putting a tempered glass screen protector on top of the broken glass. So, the powerful $30 used phone has a sub optimal screen.
Another thing that most probably don't know about these modern phones, is that many can run Windows, especially older versions of Windows. you can hook up a usb-c hub up to a phone as the computer, and with the hub you could hook up a big tv as a monitor through hdmi, whatever keyboard and mouse you want, you can add an additional external drive. 2tb external drives cost about $60 now.
