I disagree.
Do you think they understand that they're undermining their own narrative that empty seats a a sign of Trump's support waning?
It's not even a plausible story, anyway. Tickets do not reserve specific seats. They overbook (massively); and then the first to show up are the ones who get in. So requesting 100,000 tickets will not affect… anything.
At worst, they will cause the campaign to send mailers requesting money to lefties who would never possibly give it to them.
Having had my mailbox stuffed with junkmail from every local, state, and federal Republican candidate since I donated to Trump 2016 run, I don't have much sympathy fro either side.
