Anyway, I concur with your sentiment on Trump trying to do it the right way. But the revolt thing…. isn't it old patriotic teaching that the people have a right to bring down a Government if it has becone Tyrannical?
I can't go back to a WW but for as long as I've been on the planet, this moment now appears the most tyrannical in Golbal terms with many Governments seemingly ignoring 'norms' of society and dictating on whims

Maybe so. But one thing I'd put money on; if he does challenge for the Presidency, and if he did win - the dementia thing would disappear in an instant.
If he wins he'll have a lot of work to do to reset America back to the way his backers like it. There'll be no time for acting and he'll be playing things sharp and ruthless.

Yeah. I think Trump loves being the decoy. That's when he knows things are going down behind the scenes. He plays distraction - with the tweets, the Rallies, the long COVID press-conferences. Think most of it is just to keep the hounds using energy to cover him whilst the documents and links are analysed
