Different races do possess distinct characteristics, abilities, or qualities. Inferiority/superiority are subjective, and people fear the moral issues that may arise from assigning a racial hierarchy. However, that does not refute the point that the peoples of Europe, Africa, and Asia selected for differing traits over the past millennia based on environmental and cultural pressures. Melanin is not race, and evolution did not start at the foot and end at the neck.
