–1. The Democrats and their media propagandists are not only nuts but evil. The president has the constitutional authority to fire any U.S. attorney he wishes and for any reason.

The fact that the SDNY is investigating (or not) individuals known to the president, etc., doesn't render him powerless; moreover, the assumption that this U.S. attorney has been removed because of some untoward reason is without any substantiation.

Furthermore, there are over 200 prosecutors in that office. If there are active cases, they won't disappear. This is just the latest phony controversy. And by the way, Obama and Clinton fired U.S. attorneys left and right. –
