Here we go again with this silliness.
To the Mayans, it didn't mean the world itself ended, but that a restart of time was to begin. This was similar to more ancient civilizations in the eastern hemisphere. It was not unusual for the beginning of a new dynasty to also start with a reset of the "clock" or the calendars. To them, it was the end of the "old world" and the beginning of the new.
And is this related to misnumbering breads, recently a common occurrence deserving of suspicion? And also to mislabeling posts in notables? As well as other questionable bakers' activities lately?
He had his fingers crossed behind his back when he said that. We're finding these "heros" have been zeroes all along, and we should maybe jettison the lot of them.
