nurseanon here, because of COVID all residents are being kept in their rooms isolated, 0 visits from families. most without TVs/radios ect. just sitting there day in and day out. alot of them have just given up, what little structure they had is gone, our workload has doubled because of staff shortages and with the limited contact policies and procedures we get even less 1 to 1 time with them. 15 of my 40 residents have passed since lockdown started normally we lose 1-2 a month. Not one family has been able to be with them in their last moments either, breaks my heart, especially when all the people at the CHAZ were the same people causing a fuss anytime talks about reopening happened
