according to the CDC, not wearing a mask can pose a health threat to others which negates the "reasonable accommodation" provided by ADA. and provides businesses the ability to deny service to a customer.
not saying that mandatory masks are a good thing but we need a stronger argument than the ADA imo. especially since anyone can just lie since they dont have to disclose. its kind of a dishonest approach to avoiding mandatory mask laws. there was also an earlier version of this that included HIPA, which wasnt even applicable and was misspelled as HIPPA, which didnt help
