Some People Were Finally Arrested For Vandalizing A 'Monument'…

From the Thousand Oaks Acorn, "Sheriff, DA employees arrested on suspicion of vandalizing BLM sign in Thousand Oaks":

Three Thousand Oaks residents have been cited on suspicion of vandalizing a Black Lives Matter banner on private property. Two work for the County of Ventura criminal justice system.

Darrin Stone, 60, was caught on camera using a knife to slice the sign, which is a brown tarp spray-painted with the letters "BLM" and hung from a homeowner's fence facing Westlake Boulevard, police said in a statement released Saturday night.

Stone has been an employee of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office since 2005, and is assigned as a service technician at the Pre-Trial Detention Facility in Ventura. Service technicians are non-sworn employees who primarily work for the county jail system supervising inmates within housing areas.

Maxwell Meyers, 19, who hung the sign, installed a remote camera nearby to capture images of anyone damaging or removing it. After a picture of one of the perpetrators was posted on social media, a sheriff’s department detective recognized the person as Stone, police said.

The sign is so low effort it's borderline insulting.

These guys probably thought they were cleaning up vandalism or a pile of garbage, one of the accused apparently said he thought it was an HOA violation.

Anderson, who worked for the D.A. for “approximately four months,” according to a statement from District Attorney Greg Totten, has since resigned.

[…] The final suspect: Jeffrey Moore, 58, is accused of spray-painting the sign June 11, placing an A over the B, changing the 15-square-foot sign to "ALM" or "All Lives Matter." According to police, Moore was identified via his work truck, which he pulled over on Westlake Boulevard before defacing the sign.

In a letter sent to the Acorn, Meyers said he confronted one of the men in front of his home, but that the man denied taking down the sign maliciously.

"He claimed he thought my sign was an HOA violation, despite living in a different HOA than us and despite the fact he never once contacted his or my HOA," Meyers said. "This by itself is pretty ugly, but my posts about the signs being stolen, as well as Ring camera evidence asking for help identifying the man, were removed by Nextdoor North Ranch mods. You want an example of systemic racism? Here it is."

This is "systemic racism" in action, folks!

Jimmy Kimmel used 'N-word' in imitation Snoop song in 1996, impersonated comic George Wallace in 2013: audio

EXCLUSIVE: Jimmy Kimmel, who urged actor Tom Arnold to release an alleged "N-word" tape of President Trump in 2018, admitted years ago that he imitated rapper Snoop Dogg's voice for a track in a 1996 Christmas album – an original song in which Kimmel used the "N-word" several times.

The admission came in a January 2013 podcast obtained this weekend by Fox News. In the podcast, Kimmel also changed his speech pattern in an attempt to adopt the voice of black comedian George Wallace, in what host Adam Carolla called Kimmel's "crazy black voice." Kimmel acknowledged imitating black people on other occasions as well.

Kimmel, who is slated to host the Emmy Awards this year, announced last week that he's taking the summer off amid a brewing blackface controversy; he has not issued an apology.

California. A version of the track featuring Kimmel's Snoop Dogg imitation, "Christmastime in the LBC," has been uploaded to YouTube.

In the Christmas track, a singer mentioned a "fat n– in a sleigh giving sh- away," referring to Santa Claus. The song also referenced "n- in the manger," including associates of King Herod.

"I told that motherf-er Santa, bring a pick for my afro," the singer went on. The "three wise men" were described as "bringing gifts and sh for baby boo in the hay."

"Me and my n- down in LBC, we'll smoke that motherf-- Christmas tree," Kimmel said.

Liner notes from the cassette, obtained by Fox News, showed the album was co-produced by "Jim Kimmel" and credited Kimmel for all "comedy material" on the album, except for a handful of unrelated tracks. Kimmel also appeared on the album cover.

Stimulus Check News: Trump Promises Second Round As Part Of 'Generous' Financial Relief Package

President Trump on Monday promised a second stimulus check for most Americans as part of a “generous” financial relief package amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“We had the best job numbers, the best economics, the best economy we’ve ever had, and then we had the virus come in from China. Now we’re rebuilding it again. We will be doing another stimulus package,” Trump told Scripps political editor Joe St. George at the White House.

Trump said the next stimulus package would be “very generous” and would be a bipartisan effort “over the next couple of weeks.”

In May, the Democratic-majority House of Representatives voted to pass the $3 trillion Heroes Act stimulus legislation. The Act would provide stimulus checks of $1,200 to Americans earning up to $75,000, with individuals earning up to $99,000 to receive a smaller amount. Married couples would receive $2,400 if their joint income is less than $150,000. Families would be given $1,200 each for up to three dependents, with one household eligible for up to $6,000 in support.

Trump, along with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., have called the Heroes Act “dead on arrival.” Democrats and Republicans are expected to begin negotiations on another stimulus package in late July.

Some Republicans have expressed reservations about a large stimulus package, with Sen. Rand Paul, R- Ky., warning about the ballooning federal deficit amid the pandemic. Earlier this month, conservative deficit hawks sent a letter to Trump, telling him to cut spending.

In March, Trump signed the $2.2 trillion Cares Act, with stimulus checks of $1,200 being sent to most Americans.

Another stimulus check could be needed for many Americans, as unemployment remains in the double-digits. Coronavirus cases are currently spiking in sunbelt states such as Arizona, Texas and Florida.

Under fire for nursing home coronavirus deaths, Gov. Cuomo tries to blame Trump and faces a furious online backlash

'It's all a political charade, and an ugly one'

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo attempted to put the blame on the Trump administration for the mishandling of the coronavirus patients in nursing homes, and the internet responded back with scorn and ridicule.

Cuomo was speaking to Stephanie Ruhle of MSNBC when he made the comments.

"Yes, we had more people die in nursing homes than anywhere else, because we had more people die," Cuomo said.

"Because the federal government missed the boat and never told us this virus was coming from Europe and not from China," he claimed.

"And in January, in February, March, before they did the European travel ban, three million people came from Europe and brought the virus to New York, uh, and the federal government didn't know, and the federal government didn't, the CDC, and all of them failed to handle this pandemic and warn this nation," Cuomo continued.

"So New York had more cases, and more deaths, and more deaths in nursing homes because that's who the virus affects, it affects senior citizens, we know that," he said.

"It's all a political charade, and an ugly one, frankly," Cuomo concluded.

The response

Cuomo was mocked and ridiculed by many for trying to pass the buck onto the Trump administration, which announced the travel ban on people entering from Europe on March 11.

"Why does Andrew Cuomo think it matters if this is a European or Chinese virus? He still could have been a competent leader and shut down New York in early or mid-March, instead of March 22nd. Thousands died from COVID-19 who did not have to die," responded Guardian columnist Ross Barkan.

"Absolute nonsense from Cuomo," replied Charles C.W. Cooke, National Review editor.

I’d like to address some aspects of the Greater Depression in this essay.

I’m here to tell you that the inevitable became reality in 2008. We’ve had an interlude over the last few years financed by trillions of new currency units.

To refresh your memory, let me recount what a depression is.

The best general definition is: A period of time when most people’s standard of living drops significantly. By that definition, the Greater Depression started in 2008, although historians may someday say it began in 1971, when real wages started falling.

It’s also a period of time when distortions and misallocations of capital are liquidated, and when the business cycle, which is caused exclusively by currency debasement (also known as inflation), climaxes. That results in high unemployment, business failures, uncompleted construction, bond defaults, stock market crashes, and the like.

Fortunately, for those who benefit from the status quo, and members of something called the Deep State, the trillions of new currency units delayed the liquidation. But they also ensured it will now happen on a much grander scale.

The Deep State is an extremely powerful network that controls nearly everything around you. You won’t read about it in the news because it controls the news. Politicians won’t talk about it publicly. That would be like a mobster discussing murder and robbery on the six o’clock news. You could say the Deep State is hidden, but it’s only hidden in plain sight.

The Deep State is the source of every negative thing that’s happening right now. To survive the coming rough times, it’s essential for you to know what it’s all about.

Biden Commits To Three Debates With Trump

It's official, former Vice President Joe Biden's campaign has committed to three debates with President Trump before the November election, according to the Washington Post.

"Joe Biden looks forward to facing Donald Trump in a multi-debate series that the American people have come to expect from their leaders; we hope that President Trump would not break that tradition or make excuses for a refusal to participate," said Biden campaign manager Jen O'Malley Dillon in a letter to the Commission on Presidential Debates.

Last week several top Trump aides, including Rudy Giuliani, began pushing for four presidential debates - and insisted they be held earlier so that early voters can make decisions.

"We want fair debates. We want them sooner, and we want a bigger schedule," said Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale. "We also don’t want them up against football games competing for viewers. As many Americans as possible need to see the stark differences between the accomplishments and leadership of President Trump and the failed record and sleepiness of Joe Biden."

The Biden camp pounced at the Trump campaign's rationale for a fourth debate, pointing to the president's repeated warnings against mail-in ballots, and calling their insistence on more debates a 'distraction.'

"The Trump position seems to be saying that he will debate if he can pick the moderators: clearly the President, who largely conducts interviews only with favorable news outlets, is afraid of facing questions from a neutral moderator. The Trump campaign proposal for elaborate negotiations is merely an effort to dodge fair, even-handed debates," wrote O'Malley Dillon.

If the Trump and Biden camps agree on a fourth debate, the commission would do 'everything it can' to make it happen, according to Frank Fahrenkopf, chairman of the debate commission.

Air Defense Systems Activated At Russia’s Hmeimim Air Base In Syria

Late on June 22, air defense systems deployed at Russia’s Hmeimim air base in Syria were activated to repel what believed to be a massive drone attack. According to local sources, over 20 exlosions were reported in the airspace near the Russian airbase.

Meanwhile, Syria’s state-run news agency SANA reported that Syrian air defenses were activated in the Jableh area in the province of Latakia. Russia’s Hmeimim air base is located in the very same province.

Earlier in June 2020, the Russian military revealed that Tor short-range surface-to-air missile systems have downed more than 45 unmanned aerial vehicles launched by militants.

“Since the start of combat duty, the calculations of the Tor combat vehicles targeted over 45 UAVs crafted by militants,” the chief of the Russian Air Defense Forces Lieutenant General Alexander Leonov said.

These are the militant UAVs downed by Tor systems only. The toal number of militant UAVs neutralized by Russian forces has reportedly overcome 200.

It's Time to Bench Fauci

The single biggest threat against President Donald Trump's reelection in November isn't unhinged liberals out for blood, a hostile media or even a politicized U.S. Supreme Court; it's Dr. Anthony Fauci, the top infectious disease adviser on the White House Coronavirus Task Force. If he's not reined in, then he may succeed in making Trump a one-term president.

Here's why. One of the most important things an incumbent needs to secure reelection is a strong economy, but due to the radical lockdown and months-long national quarantine Fauci championed in March to mitigate the pandemic, the U.S. economy was dealt a devastating blow, resulting in 46 million Americans losing their jobs. So, now, instead of the president galloping into the November election leading one of the hottest economies on record, he's trudging to the ballot box hoping the economy will recover quickly enough.

Strike 1.

In hindsight, advisers like Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, should've recommended a partial lockdown and a quarantine only for our nation's most vulnerable citizens the elderly and those with underlying medical conditions not the entire country. But that moderate and reasonable approach didn't happen. Instead, the president adopted the questionable advice of Fauci and others who favored a national lockdown which many voters consider Draconian kneecapping the economy and our collective rights and now jeopardizing the president's reelection chances.

Strike 2.

Fauci has also sowed skepticism about kids going back to school in the fall, radically influencing, if not forever altering, our entire U.S. education system. Since March, when schools were closed nationwide, approximately 57 million American children were forced into isolation at home, cut off from friends, socialization, sports and normal activities. Scores have been denied a quality education and have suffered detrimental effects to their mental and physical health unnecessarily as it's well-known that children are a low-risk group for getting the coronavirus and dying from it. For reference, in Massachusetts, a hotspot for coronavirus, not a single child ages 0-19 has died from coronavirus according to the mass.gov website.

But that's not all Fauci is radically altering in the name of public health. Turns out, he wants to cancel football, too. During a recent interview, Fauci told CNN's Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta: "Unless players are essentially in a bubble insulated from the community and they are tested nearly every day it would be very hard to see how football is able to be played this fall. If there is a second wave, which is certainly a possibility and which would be complicated by the predictable flu season, football may not happen this year."

Strike 3.

Americans are not going to accept a beloved American pastime like football or other pro sports being canceled indefinitely because Fauci, an unelected bureaucrat with an opinion, says so.

Bottom line: If the president doesn't bench Fauci soon and reject his endless calls for extreme mitigation measures, he's likely to join 46 million on the unemployment line come November.

Rasmussen Poll: President Trump Approval Rating at 46%, Higher Than Obama at Same Point

New data from The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll shows 46 percent of likely U.S. voters approve of the job President Donald Trump is doing, including 39 percent approval among Black likely voters.

Despite the media’s criticism over President Trump’s handling of COVID-19, riots, and speculation about low turnout at the Tulsa, Oklahoma rally, his approval rating is higher than Obama’s at the same point in his term.

Rasmussen data shows Obama with 44 percent approval on the same day, two points lower than President Trump.

The poll also found 40 percent approval from independents and 24 percent among likely Democrat voters.

‘Tear Them Down’: Shaun King Demands ‘White European’ Jesus Statues ‘Come Down’

Left-wing activist Shaun King called Monday for the removal of statues, murals and stained glass windows that depict Jesus as a “white European,” which he claimed “are a form of white supremacy.”

“Yes, I think the statues of the white European they claim is Jesus should also come down,” King, a former surrogate on Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’s 2020 presidential campaign, wrote on Twitter. “They are a form of white supremacy. Always have been.”

King’s targeting of religious artwork comes as various activist groups have moved beyond tearing down Confederate statues and are now calling for the removal of other historical monuments.

“In the Bible, when the family of Jesus wanted to hide, and blend in, guess where they went?” he added. “EGYPT! Not Denmark. Tear them down.”

“All murals and stained glass windows of white Jesus, and his European mother, and their white friends should also come down,” King wrote in a second tweet. “They are a gross form of white supremacy.”

A spokesperson for King didn’t immediately return a request for additional comment.

Venezuela's Maduro Says He's Willing to Meet With Trump

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has said he is willing to meet with US President Donald Trump in a bid to settle the conflict between their two countries. Since January 2019, Trump has sought Maduro's ouster, and earlier on Monday, Trump said he would only discuss Maduro's abdication.

Amid questions from the press about how he would respond to a prospective summit with Trump, Maduro said on Monday that he would meet with the US president on the basis of mutual respect.

Noting that in 2015 he had spoken "at length and in a respectful manner" with then-US Vice President Joe Biden, Maduro said he was willing to speak with Trump on the same terms, the national news agency Agencia Venezolana de Noticias reported.

The possibility of a peace summit recently appeared on the table once more after several attempts by one side or the other fell on deaf ears.

"I would maybe think about that … Maduro would like to meet. And I'm never opposed to meetings - you know, rarely opposed to meetings," Trump told Axios in a Sunday interview. "I always say, you lose very little with meetings. But at this moment, I've turned them down."

Trump's reluctant admiration for Maduro, who has remained in power despite 18 months of attempts by the US to overthrow him or force him from power, was recently revealed in early reports from an upcoming tell-all book by Trump's former national security adviser, John Bolton.

The book also reveals how little Trump thought of Juan Guaido, the opposition figure triumphed by Washington as the legitimate interim leader of Venezuela since January 2019. The US president reportedly thought of Guaido as weak, calling him "the Beto O'Rourke of Venezuela" in reference to a failed Democratic presidential contender of similar appearance. Guaido has failed to garner significant support for his movement despite much bluster and the support of roughly 50 nations, and has even lost his former office as leader of the country's National Assembly.

However, in that same book, Trump reportedly calls a prospective invasion of Venezuela "cool," and refers to the South American country as "part of the United States."

Biden, who is now the Democratic contender for the November 2020 presidential election against Trump, seized the opportunity, attacking Trump on Twitter as hypocritical.

"Trump talks tough on Venezuela, but admires thugs and dictators like Nicolas Maduro. As President, I will stand with the Venezuelan people and for democracy," Biden wrote, quote-tweeting the Axios interview.

In turn, Trump returned to his more bellicose stance on Monday, saying that "Unlike the radical left, I will ALWAYS stand against socialism and with the people of Venezuela. My Admin has always stood on the side of FREEDOM and LIBERTY and against the oppressive Maduro regime! I would only meet with Maduro to discuss one thing: a peaceful exit from power!"

In March, the US Department of Justice filed drug trafficking charges against Maduro, and the State Department placed a $15 million bounty on Maduro's head.
