The Elites Are Revolting

Our Establishment is revolting – in fact, it stinks on ice. What you see out there is our alleged betters struggling mightily to hold onto the power that we Normal people dared to wrest away from them in 2016. One component of their campaign is the burning and looting information operation conducted by black-clad pawns. The other component is the soft power corporate/media/cultural conspiracy to silence dissent and enforce fearful conformity to their narrative. Usually, a revolution is conducted by the peasants to throw off a tyrannical ruling class. Here, the ruling class is waging a political and cultural war to retake and then tighten its grip on the masses. They are no longer even pretending to seek the consent of the governed. And once they retake power, that’s it – they will never give up power again.

This is about casting off the “tyranny” of you having rights and interests that get in the way of the best and the brightest doing whatever the hell they want, a continuing theme in my new book The 21 Biggest Lies about Donald Trump (and You!). And a key component of this cynical plot is systematically denying you the protection of norms and laws, all while subjecting you to them where it benefits the elite.

Let’s review.

Remember free speech? That was fun while it lasted. Oh, it still exists, to the extent that you may speak freely as long as your free speech conforms to the Establishment narrative. Do you feel like you can say whatever you think freely and without restraint? Or do you experience a twinge of fear of the consequences if you get online and state that no, you do not support the Marxist goals of Black Lives Matter? If so, their plan is working. You are supposed to be afraid and intimidated – and while the endless list of people cancelled, abused, and fired from jobs because they refused to kowtow to the mob serves to outrage us, it also serves to teach us that there is a fearsome price to be paid for failing to go along and cheer the Emperor’s new duds.

Remember the big lie that Trump is the great destroyer of norms? What about the norm of free speech? Not the First Amendment – that’s a constitutional guarantee. It’s the norm, the general consensus that people will not be punished for their views even outside the law, that’s dead, and not at the hand of The Donald.

Maybe you can appeal for support to the neutral truthtellers of the media, the brave firefighters who ensure the little guy gets a fair shake. Nah. Our garbage media is dedicated to reinforcing the status quo – instead of comforting the afflicted and afflicting the comfortable, it afflicts the afflicted and sucks up to the comfortable.

The Problem With How the Regime-Change American Left Sees the World and Themselves

Imagine believing that you know what is in the best interests of others, and worse, ones you have never even met, and worse still, believing you have a right to improve their situation in the manner and timeline you see fit. The belief that one has the right to save the world is termed ‘communal narcissism’. Therein lies the first problem with progressive imperialism.

The American left in the realm of foreign policy suffers from a type of prosocial communal narcissism, based in their own self-appraisal that their best intentions will be realized in the best outcomes for others, as the narcissist has themself defined it.

But the American left is significantly more dangerous and grotesque compared to standard justifications of imperialism, because it frames the discourse in such a way that it is blind to its own chauvinism, and believes itself to speak for the world.

What in other countries is viewed as quite ugly – believing oneself so enlightened and righteous that they can force others into their own image – has become a quintessential aspect of American culture post 1960’s.

We arrive then at our problem; the leftist approach has relied on soft-power tactics which require a lot more imagination, and yet also hubris, to justify. It is based overtly in telling other countries how to manage themselves as being both philosophically and categorically its proclaimed mandate.

It is the most overt form of imperialism, couched in the language of the left’s understanding of human rights and universalism. It rests gently on the ears and upon the conscience if left unexamined, but in actual fact it is far more malignant. Perhaps because they are so over-used, and perhaps here because they appear to be benign, because American society accepts these as just. But the specter of Dunning-Kruger will always rear its ugly head, and the expected outcomes will almost never materialize.

And in typical gas-lighting fashion, the failure of the subject nation to live up to the vision of the narcissist will be blamed upon the subject.

Most dangerously, soft-power tactics situate themselves outside of the founding principles of national self-determination and sovereignty that the UN was established upon in the post-war years, and yet exploits the various corrupt alphabet soup of organizations and agencies that operate under the UN’s umbrella.

Soft-power tactics were born out of a cultural shift within the U.S.., the development of media and later new media, as a form of propaganda and manufactured consent. The role of television media reporting on Vietnam left an American public taken aback by raw images of the terrorism and horror that is war.

Gone forever was the myth of purity of arms. And so a new myth, the myth of soft-power towards regime change, had to be built.

While soft-power tactics may at first appear to be less harmful to the target, because ‘military’ is not used, the socio-economic outcome of such an approach is the very definition of collective punishment and civilian targets, targets which if zeroed in on by the military would qualify as war crimes and crimes against humanity by any reasonable measure.

‘If Brooklyn Can’t Sleep, Bill de Blasio Can’t Sleep,’ New Yorkers Hold Noise Demo at Mayor’s Mansion Over Fireworks and Lawlessness

New Yorkers are fed up with Mayor Bill de Blasio allowing the lawlessness continue on their streets, which includes shooting off fireworks at all hours of the night.

To enact their revenge, protesters lined up their cars and held down their horns for a noise demonstration outside the Gracie Mansion late Monday night.

“If Brooklyn can’t sleep, @NYCMayor can’t sleep,” one person familiar with the protest tweeted.

The New York City Police Department has reportedly asked New Yorkers to stop calling 9-1-1 and 3-1-1 to complain about the blasts.

Since de Blasio refuses to do anything about the insane noise keeping them awake, members of the Jewish community decided to organize a demonstration to make sure the mayor couldn’t sleep either — and it was LOUD.

A speaker at the demonstration said that they were not there for any political discussions, but rather that they simply do not feel safe.

The fireworks have been going on nightly in Brooklyn and other communities.

In one particularly horrifying video from Harlem, a criminal degenerate threw a large lit firework at a sleeping homeless man.

UK Prepared to Accept Tariffs as Price for Diverging from EU Standards: Report

The UK will reserve the right to diverge from European Union standards, even if it means accepting trade tariffs from the bloc.

Negotiations are set to accelerate following Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s return to the frontline of UK-EU talks following the height of the coronavirus pandemic and his own recovery from the illness.

Media reports in recent weeks point to renewed vigour from both parties to get a deal done as soon as possible — calling for a “new phase” of less formal talks. The is EU aiming for October to conclude the process, while the prime minister is seeking to have one agreed by the end of July.

The United Kingdom officially left the European Union on January 31st, 2020, but remains in a transition period, tied to the EU’s Customs Union, Single Market, and associated regulations. During this time, London and Brussels are attempting to finalise a future trading arrangement. The transition period ends on December 31st, 2020, and Prime Minister Johnson has enshrined in law that it cannot be extended beyond that date, meaning that without or without a deal, the UK will leave the Brussels’ institutions, finally fulfilling the result of the June 2016 vote to leave the European Union.

The Financial Times reported on Monday that Mr Johnson will work with senior ministers this week on ways to unlock a deal with Brussels, including that a deal could be signed under the condition that once the UK deviates from the bloc’s restrictive regulations, it will accept new trade tariffs.

The UK is currently in negotiations with Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Japan for new bilateral free trade agreements which were hitherto impossible to agree when the UK was bound to the EU.

Scott Morrison says allegations former High Court Justice Dyson Heydon sexually harassed associates 'very disturbing'

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has described allegations of former High Court Justice Dyson Heydon's sexual harassment of female associates as "very disturbing".

An independent inquiry found Justice Heydon harassed six judge's associates, and High Court Chief Justice Susan Kiefel said in a statement yesterday the court was "ashamed that this could have happened at the High Court of Australia".

"Allegations of this sort are obviously very disturbing and very concerning and they're incredibly serious," Mr Morrison said today.

He added the High Court was dealing with the matter but did not echo Bill Shorten's call for Justice Heydon's Companion of the Order of Australia to be stripped.

"It's not appropriate to presuppose those processes. That's not the way these things should be handled," Mr Morrison said.

"There should be a proper process to deal with this. There will be.

"They're very serious allegations. They're very concerning and very disturbing.

Mr Shorten told Today Justice Heydon should be stripped of his Australia Day honours.

"If you believe the women, this guy was using his job in a very predatory fashion. How does he keep the highest honour in Australia?" he said.

Law firm Maurice Blackburn has been instructed to pursue claims for compensation on behalf of three of the women who made sexual harassment claims against Justice Heydon.

Maurice Blackburn is representing three of the women, including Rachael Collins and Chelsea Tabart.
