It's very tentative, but just quickly sifting through my preferred news sources this morning I felt I detected a slight change of tone - a feeling that after months of being on the back foot, a new offensive might be about to begin. Back on the attack.
Not enough people do the math though in terms of the circle. It always seems to be a circle.
They move from their Nations (coaxed by funding, wars and yep, even for many simply a desire fo for a better life). They move from their Nations into Western Nations.
Who in turn moves into their Nations?
Colonialism is still a strong incentive when Nations with untapped wealth in raw resources are there for the taking
Which Nations have eyes on the African continent -again?
And insist the ones taken down go back up.
Lots of 'bad' people on Statues. How much of Rome should be bulldozed into the ground if these 'purist' history-clouders got their way.
The past is the past - good and bad. And we all saw ancient monuments being bombed before by black flagged cultists in the Middle East
Well…. that's a whole other topic, because certainly not all history is truth - as we know all too readily today.
So reading ability is good but then you need a lot of extra instincts to find truth amongst all that gets written
