Order of nine Angles

An Army private confessed to sharing secret information with a satanic neo-Nazi-group in a plot to attack his own unit while it was overseas and cause “the deaths of as many of his fellow service members as possible,” federal prosecutors in Manhattan said on Monday.

FOIA for Order of Nine Angels (and response)

Subject: Freedom of Information Act Request: FBI: The Order of Nine Angles

Portal

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

A copy of FBI (or Homeland Security/domestic terrorism research) files on the Order of Nine Angles and the Noctulians.

The Order of Nine Angles is a secretive Satanist/Occultist group, which comes from the United Kingdom. But here in the United States, this sect is gaining ideological ground through extremist political ideologies.

For example, the dangerous neo-Nazi organization the Atomwaffen Division, promotes the work of the ONA as required reading. ONA publishes their works with Martinet Press and the books are often authored under the name Tempel ov Blood, which wrote the book Iron Gates that Atomwaffen makes its new members read through. The Satanic influence on some of these fascists has caused a stir within the far-right milieu. (See: https://www.thedailybeast.com/satanism-drama-is-tearing-apart-the-murderous-neo-nazi-group-atomwaffen)

But that is the far-right. The post-leftist Eco-Extremist types from the Atassa journal also appear to be reading Iron Gates as well. They had a book review on their Facebook page, which appears to be taken down or a closed Facebook group now.

One of the requirements for neophyte members rising through the ranks of the ONA is to spend time within different sectors of society learning new skills such as joining the police force, becoming a soldier, or working as a fringe political organizer. Many fascist groups recommend joining the military and whatnot in order to gain tactical skills for a future racial holy war. (See: Previous reporting on Atomwaffen or other far-right groups ties to military: https://www.propublica.org/article/atomwaffen-division-hate-group-active-duty-military). Similarly, an article in the Atassa journal described the importance of the Double Life living as a regular, nondescript member of society, but preparing for war against industrial civilization.

What are we seeing here whereby a relatively unknown occultist group is influencing the most extreme fringes on both sides of the political spectrum? These groups all follow accelerationist ideologies, i.e., exacerbate all forms of social disorder from fights about racism to causing environmental damage in order to hasten/bring about a total collapse of society (or at least a slight breakdown, which can provide an opening for their attacks).

Has the FBI looked into anything about the ONA during previous cultural scares about things like Satanism or the occult (ala the 1980's freakouts over stupid things like Dungeons & Dragons)?

The FBI appears to be researching the modern fascist groups like Atomwaffen (who are linked to at least five murders) and the FBI has watched radical environmentalists for ages ("The Green Scare" etc.), but are there any documents available about historical (or modern) occultist links to extreme political movements, or documents related to the Order of Nine Angles in particular, or anything about right-wing leaders in this milieu such as David Myatt? (See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Myatt)

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Rick Carp
