what is happening is you have a single playing field, right? just one, and folks are trying to play BOTH soccer and rugby at the same time, on the same field, with two sets of officials, four teams, two sets of markings on the field, posts, etc etc now I guess you can, if you have players with sufficient brains and skill pull it off with a few bangs and flattenings and make an okay game(s) out of it, but eventually the casualty list, delay of game, overheated fans getting into drunken brawls etc gets a bit tiresome its all so inefficient and without purpose.
