The slaves were largely w/o work. They stayed w their massa’s because of being dumb (unschooled, no money (they were never paid), and local exonomics actually forbid them from working due to displacing “white folk” w cheap labor (what happened to the US economy/construction/blue colar economy in US in recent times).. thus the blacks (STAYED ON THE PLANTATION).. its what is going on w Democrat Party.
