This comes up repeatedly. Ancient Egypt was two different countries. North Egypt (Lower Kingdom) was genetically closest to the ancient Levant (pic related). Whether Levantine = White is a separate minefield of its own. :-/ South Egypt/Sudan (Upper Kingdom) was Black, borrowed civilization from the north and actually had an advanced culture for a while – so the rest of Black Africa has no excuses.
