Edomite were mixed in with Hebrews not Jews. Judiasm is a religion not an ethnic group. Gods definition of a Jew is someone who obeys Him and does what He says. So instead of getting hung up on words and definition look to the truth, and the truth is, Jesus died for anyone who believes in God and Him regardless of background.
The mercy of God is all powerful. All praise and glory are His.
