The legal system is also a weapon to tie up their target's life, to wipe out their bank account so they can't survive, to smear their reputation, to get them thrown in jail. Totally corrupt from top to bottom, and one of the major impediments to fixing anything.
The "right" can make fun of the "left" all they want, but that just aggravates and alienates them, what good does that do? The "right" are led around by the nose as much as the "left." Nothing gets fixed till everybody knows what's really going on.

You're assuming this country is white hats cleaning up bad shit. This country is controlled by black hats doing the bad shit all over. And it's been the same crew organizing most of the mob mentality in populations they infiltrate and brainwash from day one and or bribe / corrupt, and that they use to carry out that bad shit for thousands of years. Don't know if limiting country sizes would help, incorporating education about psychopathy / sociopathy might help.
