US Mil Chinook just flew right up the center stripe at KDFW at 1,000 feet AGL. PF calling this manuever highly unusual.
Dunno exactly what might be happening anons. And it's not unusual to see helos in and out of any airport, of course. But that is one busy commercial airport. And to transit through the area in that way in, and around, all the commercial trafficโฆ. Well it's unusual. Training? Who knows?
I guarantee people inside the terminals heard him go over quite well, kek.
that's pretty accurate, kek
>>9724496 looks he was departing that location
Or another name for it is Redmond Taylor Army Heliport and that is where they usually fly to and from in North Texas. Looking at the flight track he wasn't vectoring straight anywhere. Deliberate pass for whatever reason. Last seen by ADS-B 45 minutes ago vectored towards Mineral Wells, Texas. Lower altitude and no line of sight with an ADS-B network member's receiver probably caused him to drop out.
I had a crazy idea there for a moment they might be following a car on the ground because a road runs right up through there and you can drive through without ever entering the airport itself. One of DFW's well kept secret shortcuts. But it was just a crazy idea. Who knows? But it damn sure was peculiar.
They gonna get a taste of roughing it now. New demands forthcoming I'm sure. Save us! From ourselves! Where is you warlord now? kek
