We had a nightmare of a bread a while ago. We're already under attack.
I won't lie, this whole episode has made me reconsider going into medicine.
I don't care. I was fine with living in a car or just being homeless for a few years to do it, and I was fine with eating top ramen 6 nights a week for a decade or so. I'm fine with getting food from a food bank or just dumpster-diving. I'm fine with not having kids or a relationship to do it. I'm fine with not sleeping and shaving a decade off my lifespan to help people.
What I'm not fine with is being beholden to organizations that are clearly evil. Ones that betrayed people on this massive scale. Ones that lied on such a massive scale.
I'd be amazed if people ever got their faith in healthcare back after the truth comes out.
I can't believe I trusted them.
