I want to urge all conservative/republican voters to re-register as dems or green party. That way, if you have to vote via mail, you won't be giving yourself away.
I am in CA.
We have to sign the outside of the mail in ballot. We were also(in my are) forced to used mail-in years ago. They know when that ballot arrives you are a repub or dem.
If you are registered dem, there is no way for them to know how you voted.
They will not cull your vote before it reaches the county offices.
Please do this. I am going to myself.
I have always dropped my ballot off but that still isn't enough. We should not be made to sign the outside of the envelope. We have a right to a private vote.

and this was pointed out last week that some ballot envelopes are marked with a red or blue mark. They will know.
