I've always been an Independent, but I was on the liberal end. Hated the Neo Cons and still do. Both parties take turns going extreme. I voted for BHO the first time and never voted again (I'm also in a 90% blue city so it's not even worth bothering).

Figured Trump was set up to play the village idiot (and TV ratings for CNN) to ENSURE HRC won...and he seemed to be doing just that for a while. I guess the Gen's tapped him with the plan. Right before the election I realized he might win. Dismissed it all as American crumbling til Q showed up and came here.

Now I'm changing my views on a lot of things that I previously was for/against. Most of my friends are libs. Still hopelessly missing BHO, guzzling kool aid.

I loved Colbert, but once he started the Anti-Trump campaign nonstop from his overlords I stopped watching. It was such low fruit it wasn't even funny...even before I really caught on to DHT being for real. It just wasn't constructive and it was partisan. They weren't AS partisan on Comedy central.

They all drank the koolaid and reading the 4am memos.

I think 4-6% is optimistic. I think it's 10x that.

Nicely put. This place is so refreshing. Everywhere else is so sanitized, humorless "safe space" no downvote, no freedom of speech.
