The navy making a move to keep sailors in a lockdown stance, may seem weird to some. But if they have a specific threat then this is not extreme. Back in the late 70’s this happened at NOB Norfolk. At least twice for two weeks each. I remember it well. They were getting bomb threats at the exchange, post office, movies, bowling alleys, ect .
