https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/international-news/russia/gates-dream-of-controlling-the-world-is-hitting-a-brick-wall/

Bill Gates and Microsoft have been banned in Russia. This is seriously preventing Bill Gates’ dream of vaccinating the entire world so he can track everyone. Russia is going to add Bill Gates to the blacklist along with George Soros and Jacob Rothschild.

Putin is at least protecting the Russian people against the manufactured pandemic. There are about 9.5 million people who die every year from cancer compared to Bill Gates’ virus of fewer than 500,000 deaths worldwide. About 645,000 die of heart attacks annually. There are about 15.2 million deaths annually from various diseases. We do not hear about that every night on CNN delivering a daily death count. If they did, it would probably also change behavior. In comparison, Gates’ virus is overly exaggerated for the sole purpose of terrorizing people into complying with his agenda and to defeat Trump to usher in the New Marxist Green Order.

Democrats can't wait to start up the COVID panic again. Look for Blue States to go back into full lockdown. They are desperate to block the Trump economic recovery.

Of course, Mr #FearPorn himself, #DrFraudFauci, will be EVERYWHERE on the news channels.

Lockdowns don't work.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2020/06/indian-jets-fly-galwan-china-blames-india-clash-200624105950727.html

Indian fighter jets have roared over a flashpoint Himalayan region as part of a show of strength even as China again accused India of provoking the border clash earlier this month that killed at least 20 soldiers.

Indian jets regularly took off on Wednesday from a military base in Leh, the main Indian town in the contested Indian-administered Ladakh region, and headed towards the mountainous border 240km (150 miles) away.

There were also checkpoints on main roads outside Leh and a frenzy of military activity around the main town, which lies at an altitude of 3,500 metres (11,500 feet).

"We now have a good strength present in the area," an official of the Indian army's Northern Command told AFP news agency on condition of anonymity, referring to the reinforcements.

Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian also asserted that the confrontation occurred on China's side of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) - the de facto border dividing the two nuclear powers - and that Indian forces had illegally entered Chinese territory.

"The responsibility is entirely not on the Chinese side," Zhao said at a daily news briefing on Wednesday.

"The reckless actions by the Indian military seriously violated agreements signed between the two countries and seriously violated the basic principles of international relations. They were evil in nature and the consequences were severe," Zhao said.

https://home.cern/news/news/accelerators/electricity-transmission-reaches-even-higher-intensities

Intensity is rising at CERN. In the superconducting equipment testing hall, an innovative transmission line has set a new record for the transport of electricity. The link, which is 60 metres long, has transported a total of 54 000 amperes (54 kA, or 27 kA in either direction). “It is the most powerful electrical transmission line built and operated to date!” says Amalia Ballarino, the designer and project leader.

The line is composed of cables made of magnesium diboride (MgB2), which is a superconductor and therefore presents no resistance to the flow of the current and can transmit much higher intensities than traditional non-superconducting cables. On this occasion, the line transmitted an intensity 25 times greater than could have been achieved with copper cables of a similar diameter. Magnesium diboride has the added benefit that it can be used at 25 kelvins (-248 °C), a higher temperature than is needed for conventional superconductors. This superconductor is more stable and requires less cryogenic power.

https://thehimalayantimes.com/world/satellite-images-show-new-chinese-structures-near-site-of-border-clash-with-india

The satellite images showing new construction activity in the week following the brutal hand-to-hand combat underline the challenge of disengagement and the risk the accord could still fall apart because of overlapping claims in the arid territory.

The pictures shot on Monday by US-based space technology firm Maxar Technologies show what appear to be extensive Chinese structures on a raised river terrace overlooking the Galwan River.

India says the area where the structures have sprung up are on its side of the poorly defined, undemarcated Line of Actual Control or the de facto border between the two Asian giants.

China says the whole of Galwan valley, located at about 14,000ft (4,300m), is its territory and blames Indian troops for triggering the clashes.

Nathan Ruser, a satellite data expert at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, said the buildup suggested there was little sign of de-escalation.

“Satellite imagery from the Galwan Valley on June 22nd shows that ‘disengagement’ really isn’t the word that the (Indian) government should be using,” he said in a post on Twitter.

On the Indian side, defensive barriers can be seen in the latest images which were not visible in pictures taken in May. An Indian forward post appears to be scaled back compared with images a month ago.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-06-20/from-spam-to-corned-beef-sales-of-canned-meat-are-booming

Canned meat is having a moment.

Demand is booming across the globe. In the U.S., sales surged more than 70% in the 15 weeks ended June 13. In the U.K., consumption of canned corned beef has taken off. Even in South Korea, where Spam is an old favorite, sales are expanding at the fastest pace in years.

“Even I thought it could be difficult to increase our sales of canned meat to more than what we expected,” said Kasper Lenbroch, chief executive officer of the unit that houses the Tulip brand at Danish Crown Group, Europe’s top meat processor

Marfrig Global Foods SA, the Brazilian beef giant, is seeing a similar jump at its Uruguay business, which supplies corned beef to the U.S.

“The last time Spam saw a similar pattern in interest was back to when the brand started during the Great Depression. The economic situation wasn’t great – that was carried into World War II,” said Brian Lillis, Hormel’s senior brand manager for Spam.

“The outbreak of coronavirus has revived the domestic canned food industry, which was on the verge of entering a period of stagnation,” said Lee Seung Hoon, a spokesman at CJ.

(Spam has a storied history in South Korea, the No. 2 consumer after the U.S. It’s a popular holiday gift sold in lavish packages, which make up about 60% of annual sales, according to CJ CheilJedang Corp., the Korean producer of the tinned ham.)

https://www.capitalfm.co.ke/news/2020/06/us-sanctions-five-iranian-ship-captains-over-venezuela-oil-delivery/

The United States imposed sanctions Wednesday on five Iranian ship captains who delivered oil to Venezuela, as Washington ratcheted up pressure on President Nicolas Maduro, whose government it considers illegitimate.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the Iranian-flagged oil tankers, which delivered some 1.5 million barrels of gasoline and oil to Venezuela in recent weeks, had been placed on the US Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) blacklist.

“Mariners who do business with Iran and Venezuela will face consequences from the United States of America,” Pompeo said.

“As a result of today’s sanctions, these captains’ assets will be blocked. Their careers and prospects will suffer from this designation,” Pompeo said.

“The rogue regimes in Caracas and Tehran are unified by their penchant for repressing their people, corruption, self-enrichment, and gross mismanagement of their people’s wealth,” Pompeo added.

The move came as Venezuela accused the United States Wednesday of “an act of provocation” after a US warship steamed close to the South American country’s territorial waters the previous day.

The vessel sailed in an area that “the illegitimate Maduro regime falsely claims to have control over,” the US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) said in a statement.

https://www.capitalfm.co.ke/news/2020/06/s-korea-us-mark-70th-anniversary-of-korean-war/

South Korea and the United States on Thursday reaffirmed their commitment to defending “the hard-fought peace” on the divided peninsula as the allies marked the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War.

Communist North Korea invaded the US-backed South on June 25, 1950, triggering a three-year war that killed millions.

The fighting ended with an armistice that was never replaced by a peace treaty, leaving the peninsula divided by the Demilitarized Zone and the two Koreas still technically at war.

“On this day in 1950, the US-ROK military alliance was born of necessity and forged in blood,” US Secretary of Defence Mark Esper and his South Korean counterpart Jeong Kyeong-doo said in a joint statement.

The anniversary comes as inter-Korean ties remain in a deep freeze following a rapid rapprochement in 2018 that brought three summits between North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and the South’s President Moon Jae-in.

Kim on Wednesday suspended plans for military moves aimed at the South, after the North raised tensions last week by demolishing a liaison office on its side of the border that symbolised inter-Korean cooperation.

https://www.tokyoreporter.com/japan/nissan-employees-wife-awarded-compensation-from-his-mistress-after-false-coerced-sex-claim/

TOKYO (TR) – A court here awarded a woman compensation from her husband’s mistress for falsely accusing him of coercing her into providing sex, a claim that led to his dismissal from automaker Nissan Motor Co., reports the Sankei Shimbun (June 23).

During the affair, the mistress was a subordinate to the husband at Nissan. She lodged a complaint with automaker claiming “she was coerced into sex” by him four years ago.

On Tuesday, the Tokyo District Court ruled that the claim of coerced sex was false and ordered the mistress to pay 1.2 million yen in compensation for the affair to the woman.

In January 2016, the mistress lodged a complaint claiming coerced sex on the part of the husband with Nissan. The automaker dismissed the husband the following month.

The husband then sued Nissan to get his job back. In March 2018, the Yokohama District Court ruled that his dismissal was unjust.

The Tokyo High Court later rejected an appeal by the company, which resulted in the husband’s reinstatement.

https://www.occrp.org/en/daily/12606-switzerland-probes-glencore-s-business-practices-in-dr-congo

Swiss prosecutors have launched a second investigation against mining company Glencore International AG, this time for failing to put organizational measures in place to prevent alleged corruption in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

The investigation against the Swiss-based commodity miner and trader has the “same thematic context” as the one opened in 2019 after prosecutors received a complaint about possible bribery of foreign public officials, the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland (OAG) told OCCRP on Monday.

The Federal Prosecutor’s Office said it would not further comment on the case.

Glencor confirmed it has been informed about the probe and said it would “cooperate with the investigation by the OAG.”

The US Department of Justice has also been looking into corruption and money laundering allegations concerning Glencore's operations in the DRC, as well as in Venezuela and Nigeria.

The company is being also probed by the U.K. Serious Fraud Office.

Global Witness, an NGO that exposes corruption, environmental and human rights abuses, welcomed the new investigation on home turf, saying that the company is now being probed in three countries.

Some of Glencore’s dealings have been linked to a wealthy Israeli businessman, Dan Gertler, who has been sanctioned by the US for enriching himself through “opaque and corrupt mining and oil deals in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.”

https://www.rfa.org/english/news/china/eastchinasea-naming-06242020141235.html

China has released a list of Chinese names for 50 new underwater features in the East China Sea, heightening tensions at the same time as an exercise between the United States and Japan in the South China Sea.

China and Japan have a long-running territorial dispute over the Senkaku Islands, which China calls the Diaoyu Dao. The uninhabited islets sit in the deep south of the East China Sea, and are a recurring flashpoint between the two countries.

China’s Ministry of Natural Resources published a list identifying and locating 50 undersea features near the Senkakus late Tuesday, similar to its announcement in late April of 55 new undersea features in the South China Sea – most of which were in the exclusive economic zone of another neighbor, Vietnam, and appear to match the location of previous Chinese survey ship activity in the area.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Navy 7th Fleet conducted a bilateral exercise Tuesday with close ally Japan in the South China Sea.

“The opportunity to operate with our friends and allies at sea is incredibly important for our combined readiness and partnership,” said Rear Adm. Fred Kacher, in a statement released by the 7th Fleet. “Executing complex maritime skills with our Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force allies allows both of our teams to build on our interoperability and readiness as we maintain a free and open Indo-Pacific.”

The exercise involved the USS Gabrielle Giffords, a littoral combat ship that has sailed repeatedly in the South China Sea in recent weeks, and two JMSDF training vessels. The drill focused on bilateral communications and precision maneuvering, according to the statement, which said the goal was to build interoperability between the U.S. Navy and the upcoming cohort of Japanese naval officers.
