When people start screaming that a knot itself can be racist, there is no reasoning with them. The issue isn’t a logical or factual one of a sliding hangman’s knot or a non slip loop knot. It’s an issue of lunacy and emotion.
Rather than acknowledging the error, they are far more likely to call for the complete abolition of fishing hooks.
