That's why I'm not registering with Parler. It's a deal breaker for me. When you sign up, they tell you they would NEVER use your phone number to track you or for any other reason than to validate your account and guard against bots. That assurance is not good enough for me.
Who said that? The difference being highlighted here is the requirement of a phone number. It's possible to register there without one. Can't do it on Parler.
Concernfag…please. You're on the wrong board if you think most anons here blindly hand out personal information without due diligence or consideration. People can make their own decisions about what they do, and nothing in our exchange indicates otherwise. Those that want to sign up, great. And if others have privacy concerns…that's their business as well.
The number one indicator of shill fuckery is trying to tell other anons what they should or shouldn't do or think. Express your opinions, yes, but then let the hive mind move it to the top or bottom. Karens don't ever understand this, and feel threatened by ideas with which they disagree, until they can't take it anymore and wind up exposing themselves.
Funny, just yesterday on Twatter a a comment I made was challenged by a random leftie who popped into the thread. When I defended my statements, HE then blocked ME. Imagine doing that…wandering into a conversation that you had nothing to do with and then blocking people…now go back and look at the behavior of the anon in question. See a similarity?
What did I decide? Just stated the obvious: on this board, ideas rise and fall based on their own merit. The more ideas that are expressed, the better the options. Some are threatened by that in such a way their insecurities get revealed.
