Parler does not require a cell phone number, a landline works. They use the number to send a registration verification code. You can call from any number to get the code.

The point is you do not need a cell phone to register, you can register with any landline. You will receive a call back and a verification number that is repeated three times. For those experiencing problems via cell or text, it is another option.
In a perfect world that would be great, based on what we have seen throughout the country something tells me one side would never allow a peaceful patriot rally to coexist with their protests. Damn shame.
