I've come to terms that my mother and almost every other person in my life very well might be part of the 4-6% of hopelessly brainwashed people. How do you get through to someone who believes whatever the MSM says, rejects everything to the contrary and refuses to examine their own thoughts logically or rationally? You don't, you literally can't. 4-6% doesn't sound like a lot, but it's a HUGE amount of people. In my particular case, it might be 90% of people I know.

I don't think they will, that's the thing. Enough conversations over the years and you can kind of gauge someone's mental and emotional strength. I think the people I care about the most are stuck in their state permanently, and I've made peace with it. The 'hopelessly brainwashed' WILL exist.
The difference is you have people willing to listen. I'm dealing with people who still believe 50% of the country is "racist deplorables." You can't "get through" to someone who isn't willing to be gotten through to.
