As a (nominal, apparently) citizen of a nation other than the US, I do not feel it appropriate to swear allegiance to the constitution of another country.

However, I do solemnly swear to assist American patriots in defence of their constitution, provided that such support does not violate the laws or interests of my home nation, or the precepts of international law.
