The woven band was a gift from Los Ninos del Vallenato, a Colombian band who performed for Bill at the White House when he was president. He also saw them play when he visited Cartagena with Chelsea in 2000. A few years later the head of the group was kidnapped and murdered by Marxist rebels in Colombia. Clinton has worn the bracelet ever since as, he says, a show of solidarity with the people of Colombia.

The bracelets Bill and Hillary Clinton wear every day and the meaning behind them (Hillary adores a baby fake fuck her grandchild OK)

POSTED BY: JASMINE WRIGHT

Hillary wears a charm bracelet with a photo of granddaughter Charlotte

Bill wears a woven band from a since-murdered Colombian musician

She is known for her pant suits.

But Hillary Clinton has another accessory she dons every day that does not garner the same attention: a custom-made bracelet.

The chain features a charm with a photograph of her granddaughter Charlotte, Chelsea's Clinton's first-born who is now 19 months old.

Though she has not pointed out the bracelet, Hillary mentions Charlotte in almost every campaign speech, and has been pictured showing off the charm to voters after rallies.

Hillary's prized possession: The chain Hillary Clinton wears every day features a charm with a photograph of her granddaughter Charlotte, Chelsea's Clinton's first-born who is now 19 months old.

She is known for her pant suits and statement jewelry, drawing attention from this more subtle item.

During her many years in politics as a Senator, a First Lady, and a Secretary of State, Hillary has been gifted jewelry amount to millions of dollars. This, however, is a more personal accessory.

Though she has not pointed out the bracelet, Hillary mentions Charlotte in almost every campaign speech, and has been pictured showing off the charm after rallies.

It's not just Hillary: Bill also has a bracelet he wears every day - and has done for the last 10 years.

Both items are among the more humble accessories the power couple own.

During her many years in politics as a Senator, a First Lady, and a Secretary of State, Hillary has been gifted jewelry amount to millions of dollars.

Bill, too, has received his fair share in gifts as he traveled the world meeting with dignitaries.

Tribute: Bill Clinton wears a woven band on his right wrist every day.

It was given to him by the Colombian band Los Ninos del Vallenato when he was president.

He started wearing it daily when the band's leader was killed.

Bill said he wears his bracelet from them as a show of solidarity with the people of Colombia

after Marxist rebels killed a band member.

The gifts have become welcome additions to Hillary's eclectic wardrobe of colorful, boxy and eccentric pant suits.

During this year's election campaign the grandmother-of-one has sported an array of fabrics and colors, often paired with large statement necklaces and earrings, that pull attention from her subtle charm dedicated to her granddaughter.

Clinton makes time to visit and FaceTime Charlotte during her campaign, according to ABC News, which first reported details about Clinton's bracelet.

Which may say a lot about his current roleand how he would like to be perceivednot as a former president or even a would-be First Gentleman, but as a global humanitarian.

Nineveh

Nineveh was an ancient Assyrian city of Upper Mesopotamia, located on the outskirts of Mosul in modern-day northern Iraq. It is located on the eastern bank of the Tigris River and was the capital of the Neo-Assyrian Empire. Today it is a common name for the half of Mosul that lies on the eastern bank of the Tigris and the Nineveh Governorate takes its name from it. It was the largest city in the world for approximately fifty years until the year 612 BC when, after a bitter period of civil war in Assyria, it was sacked by a coalition of its former subject peoples, the Babylonians, Medes, Chaldeans, Persians, Scythians and Cimmerians. The city was never again a political or administrative centre, but by Late Antiquity it was the seat of a Christian bishop. It declined relative to Mosul during the Middle Ages and was mostly abandoned by the 13th century AD. Its ruins lie across the river from the modern-day major city of Mosul, in Iraq's Nineveh Governorate.Wikipedia
