"Kung Fu Fighting" is a disco song by Jamaican vocalist Carl Douglas, written by Douglas and produced by British-Indian musician Biddu.

In 1974, “KFF” sold 11 million records worldwide and popularized disco music. “The song uses the quintessential Oriental riff, a short musical phrase that is used to signify Chinese culture.”

The song was released as a single on during the “chopsocky film craze” of the 1970’s and the popularity of Bruce Lee (who also played the part of Kato, the Green Hornet’s trusted side kick in the mid 1960’s.)
