VANDALIZATION OF FEDERAL PROPERTY – WASHINGTON, D.C.

The FBI Washington Field Office’s Violent Crimes Task Force, in conjunction with the United States Park Police, is interested in identifying several individuals who are responsible for vandalizing federal property at Lafayette Square in Washington, D.C.

On June 22, 2020, at approximately 7:15 p.m, a group of individuals vandalized the statue of President Andrew Jackson at Lafayette Square, located at Pennsylvania Ave NW and 16th Street NW. The FBI and the United States Park Police are attempting to identify the individuals responsible for the violation of Destruction of Government Property. Damage or attempted damage exceeding $1,000 to federal property is a felony offense.

US Navy Warns Sailors Prostitutes in Bahrain ‘Collecting Intel on You’

A US Navy training video is warning sailors bound for the Persian Gulf nation of Bahrain to beware the island’s many sex workers, as they will attempt to sell any information they can get about Navy personnel and their operations.

Some 8,000 US Navy personnel are stationed in the Bahraini capital of Manama, where the US Fifth Fleet’s headquarters are located. According to a Navy training video given to newly arrived servicemembers, one of the many dangers they face is the island’s sex trade, where prostitutes will reportedly fleece their customers for valuable information and then sell it to third parties.

“They’re collecting intel on you,” Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) Special Agent Joe Minucci warns new arrivals in the video, which was posted on the Pentagon’s Defense Visual Information Distribution Service (DVIDS) website in late May.

“They want to know about what your job is, what you do, what access you have, ship movements, the type of ship that comes in. Although they don’t really have a need for that information, they sell that information, and that’s how they make more money in order to get themselves out of the situation they’re in.”

“The broader intelligence community is aware that foreign adversaries often use prostitution as a conduit to solicit sensitive information from service members,” NCIS spokesperson Jeff Houston told the Navy Times for a Thursday story. However, the outlet noted NCIS provided no further specifics about the video.

In the video, Minucci says that US personnel are particularly desirable targets because they’re known to get steady paychecks and because they won’t risk getting in trouble by assaulting or turning in the women whose services they solicit.

“They also know you’re going to rotate out every 12 to 24 months,” Minucci noted. “Because of that, there’s going to be a new face, or somebody new to take your place, so business will always be there.”

A June 16 story on Military Times documented how a US Navy investigation found that a sailor, Gunner’s Mate 2nd Class Jihad H. Littlejohn, worked with a “mamasan” pimp named Lin Raiwest in 2017 to fly several women into Bahrain from Thailand and turn his apartment into the base for a sex trafficking ring.

However, after the ring was busted, it was revealed that not only was Raiwest part of a much larger web of sex trafficking, she was also “a longtime confidential NCIS informant, plying her illicit trade, reporting sailor misconduct and collecting cash rewards in the process,” according to Military Times. She reportedly went by the code name MEBJ-1580.

Facebook Moderator Says She Would Take Iranian's $80M Bounty on Trump's Head

On Thursday, Project Veritas released a bombshell video in which a third-party contractor who worked with Facebook, Ryan Hartwig, claims he faced discrimination because he is a straight, white male. Shortly after the video dropped, Facebook fired senior HR business partner Leslie Brown, who said lawyers would “laugh” if a white man came to sue the company after getting fired. The video also shows a Facebook moderator listing Make America Great Again (MAGA) with Adolf Hitler and the Nazis as a symbol of “hate.” Yet another moderator claims that she would take an Iranian’s $80 million bounty to get rid of President Donald Trump.

Facebook has not responded to PJ Media’s multiple requests for comment.

“One of my projects before now was, was hate. So I’ve spent quite a bit of time looking at pictures of hate organizations, Hitler, Nazis, MAGA, you know, Proud Boys, all that stuff all day long,” the moderator says.

Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe asks Hartwig, “Does it surprise you that he combines Hitler, Nazis, and MAGA? He’s describing hate organizations he’s moderating for Facebook, he kind of throws MAGA in there. What is your reaction to that?”

“So yeah, he groups together hate organizations, Hitler, Nazis, MAGA,” Hartwig says.. Then he adds, “that’s kind of how moderators are conditioned to think.” He insists that “anything that’s right-wing” could be on a “hate list” with terrorists, but there are “no left-leaning individuals on that list.”

Hartwig was employed by Cognizant, a third-party company that contracts with Facebook on content moderation. In his time working with Facebook, Hartwig witnessed another moderator saying she would accept the bounty that an Iranian eulogist put on President Trump’s head following the assassination of Iranian terrorist leader Quasem Suleimani.

“It’s inhumane, but if it’s gonna save the country, why not do it?” the moderator says.

In another part of the video, a content moderator says, “If I were to go in there with a MAGA shirt or a MAGA hat, I’d get my ass beat.”

Hartwig also claimed that Facebook allows anti-white bias, and even “hate speech,” if it is intended to raise awareness for LGBT issues.

He shared a document purportedly from Facebook in the summer of 2018, advising moderators to allow “Anything that is a DELETE per our Hate Speech policies, but is intended to raise awareness for Pride/LGBTQ.” An example suggested that “It’s okay to call straight white males ‘filth’ in the context of not supporting the LGBTQ” agenda, Hartwig explained. “It allows attacks on one single group of people, straight white males, for not supporting LGBT rights.”

Yet the most impactful segment of the video shows a Facebook HR business partner, Leslie Brown, discussing bias against white males with an undercover journalist from Project Veritas.

Journalist: I mean, they were able to fire him without having to worry about discrimination.

Brown: Due diligence, right. Because he’s a white man. Yeah, white man. No problem. You can’t do it that easily if there are other issues.

Journalist: Oh, it’s easier when they’re-

Brown: White men.

Journalist: Yeah, no protected class.

Brown: No one has the white man’s back anymore.

Brown went on to say, “if he chose to sue the company, most attorneys would just laugh.”

In a text message to James O’Keefe, Brown said she had been fired.

White House Wants US Firms to Buy Ericsson, Nokia to Compete With Huawei

Huawei and its major success in the global telecommunication equipment market have long been a pain in the backside of Trump's administration, which has been seeking since 2019 to prevent the Chinese giant from building 5G networks around the world.

The White House is mulling a new approach to challenging the global positions of China's Huawei in the telecommunications market by incentivising US companies, such as Cisco, to buy European telecom companies and using them to strengthen their positions as producers of equipment for service providers and mobile operators, The Wall Street Journal reported.

According to the media outlet, Washington discussed the possibility of the move with US tech giants, which have slacked considerably in terms of catching up with the newest market trend – the deployment of 5G networks.

"For the first time in modern history, the United States has not been the leader in an emerging wave of critical technology", a paper circulating in the White House and obtained by the WSJ said.

However, these talks have not been fruitful so far, as the American companies were uninterested in acquiring low-margin businesses, like Ericsson and Nokia, which were suggested by Washington, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources. These talks also stalled partially due to the coronavirus pandemic, which forced Washington to delay meetings, the Journal added.

Before that, Trump administration reportedly discussed several schemes to use the two companies in efforts to "dethrone" Huawei from its current positions. Among them were providing companies tax breaks in the US, export-bank financing or by providing financial support to a group that would buy the European tech giants, according to the media outlet.

The choice of two companies was not random: along with Samsung, Ericsson and Nokia are the biggest telecom equipment suppliers outside Huawei, which holds around 28% of the market, the outlet noted. The existing status quo dissatisfies the US, which has been seeking to limit the Chinese giant's influence under the pretext of claims that it has enabled Beijing to spy on its clients.

Last year, Washington banned Huawei from its soil and limited American firms' ability to trade with it in a bid to deprive Huawei of much needed US software and chips. The company, which vehemently denies Washington's claims, has apparently found other sources of required equipment and promised to find a way to operate without American products. Beijing, which also denies the accusation, in turn, also vowed to retaliate in response to US actions purportedly directed to help American companies compete with Huawei.

House Democrats Approve Bill To Make Washington DC 51st State

The Democrat-controlled House voted on Friday to make Washington D.C. the country's 51st state and rename it "Washington, Douglass Commonwealth," replacing Italian explorer Christopher Columbus with Maryland-born abolitionist Frederick Douglas.

Precisely zero House Republicans voted for the bill, which passed 232 to 180. Democratic Rep. Collin Peterson (MN) - who voted against impeaching President Trump, voted no along with the Republicans, as did independent Rep. Justin Amash.

The bill is expected to die in the Senate, while Trump also opposes the move which would likely grant the new state two Democratic senators.

On Thursday, Joe Biden('s handlers) tweeted: "DC should be a state. Pass it on," adding to a long chain of Democrats 'passing it on' which was started by Ilyse Hogue, president of pro-choice organization NARAL.

Keep in mind that House Democrats - who just weeks ago appeared for a choreographed 'kneeling' while dressed in African attire - know the DC statehood vote has no chance of passing, and is therefore yet another giant virtue signaling circlejerk.
