Cohen is under investigation for bank fraud. Bank fraud is separate from Stormy Daniels payoff because you need to prove that it was done to influence the election as opposed to other reasons.

Could there be a link between Dennis Shields as the banker, who needs a lawyer (life-long friend Michael Cohen), and somehow, a quiet hush hush payment to Stormy Daniels? Michael Cohen's office raided - not because of Trump-Stormy escapade but because of "bank fraud". Perhaps all three are involved in "bank fraud"?
