As a PR move he diverted attention to fundraising for The Greenbrier Resort's "Neighbors Loving Neighbors campaign" to assist West Virginia's flood victims.

He collected $2,000.

Three weeks after launching the campaign, he made a final post to the GoFundMe page:

I'm in the process of trying to book travel to head to the Greenbrier next week so I can hand them a check in person.

So did he ever actually hand over the $2,000 the following week?
