NJ City Officials Charged After 1 In 5 Mail-In Ballots Found To Be Fraudulent In Election

New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal filed voter fraud charges Thursday against two Paterson city officials who allegedly engaged in a mail-in ballot scheme in connection to a special election in May.

Grewal levelled the charges against Paterson City Councilman Michael Jackson, Councilman-Elect Alex Mendez, and two other men after the Postal Inspection Service warned Grewal’s office that hundreds of mail-in ballots were found in a Paterson mailbox, InsiderNJ reported Thursday.

The attorney general’s Office of Public Integrity & Accountability (OPIA) began a probe after the Postal Inspection Service issued the warning. Paterson authorities decided to conduct the May 12 special election through mail-in ballots due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has reportedly killed more than 124,000 people in the U.S. (RELATED: Tucker Carlson: Mail-In Voting And Ballot Harvesting ‘Massively Expands The Potential For Voter Fraud’)

Only 13,557 of the 16,747 vote-by-mail ballots in Paterson were counted, a local NBC affiliate in New York reported in May. More than 800 ballots in Paterson were invalidated for appearing in mailboxes tethered together. One mailbox reportedly had hundreds of ballots tied together.

The board of elections disqualified another 2,300 ballots after concluding that the signatures did not match voting records.

One Paterson woman named Romana Javier, after NBC showed her a list of people who allegedly voted on her block, told the channel that she never received a ballot and did not vote. “We did not receive vote-by-mail ballots and thus we did not vote,” she said. “This is corruption. This is fraud.”

The potential for fraud as a result of state and local officials resorting to mail-in ballots has become a topic of conversation among conservatives. Twitter flagged one of President Donald Trump’s tweets for suggesting in May that California’s mail-in ballots will be “substantially fraudulent.”

CHAZ Ripped Apart By Enraged Man Shouting ‘This Is Not A Black Movement

This man apparently was fed up with CHAZ, the Capital Hill Autonomous Zone in Seattle, and decided to take matters into his own hands.

The unidentified man started ripping apart booths and tossing tables in CHAZ on June 25, the video shows. The man also can be heard lecturing bystanders, saying “this is not a Black movement.”

CHAZ, also known as the Capitol Hill Organized Protest (CHOP), is located in downtown Seattle. Spanning six blocks, it is a self-proclaimed autonomous zone that organizers described as a cop-free area.

Later in the video, an unidentified Black woman is heard telling CHAZ residents that “the Republican Party is the party of the Blacks.”

The woman also talked about the so-called Southern Strategy, where the political parties supposedly switched on racial issues, saying it never happened.

“There was never a big switch,” she said. “The same Democrats that hated Black people from the beginning are the same ones who hate us [Black people] now.”

Census Report Shows Widespread Demographic Changes In The United States

We might be F’d if this is true

Minority populations are increasing and the white majority is on the decline, according to U.S. Census Bureau figures released Thursday.

Over the past decade, the white population grew by 10.5 million individuals, a 4.3% increase, while the Hispanic population grew by 10.1 million individuals, a 20% increase, the Census figures show. Among white people, there were 1.34 births for every death, whereas the Hispanic population had 5.81 births for every death, according to the report.

The report also indicated that the Asian-American population had a significant increase in population: it grew by 5.2 million individuals over the past decade, a 30% growth in population size. International immigration of 3.2 million Asian-Americans over the past decade primarily drove this population growth as it accounted for nearly two-thirds of it.

“We are browning from bottom up in our age structure,” Brookings Institution senior fellow William Frey told NBC News. “This is going to be a diversified century for the United States, and it’s beginning with this youngest generation.”

The population estimates indicate that whites individuals account for 60.1% of the current population of the United States, whereas minorities make up the remaining 39.9%. But according to projections, the white majority will be in the minority of the total U.S. population by the year 2045. According to the Brookings Institution, minority immigration and natural population increase is driving the demographic change towards a majority-minority country.

The total population of the United States grew by 19.5 million individuals, or 5.9%, this past decade. The growth of the white population was responsible for 54.2% of this population growth, while Hispanic growth was responsible for 51.8% of the growth.

Meet The ‘Flying Ginsu,’ A Truly Gnarly Weapon Washington Used To Annihilate An Al-Qaida Leader

Say hello to my little friend

American Special Operations used a massive hellfire missile nicknamed the “Flying Ginsu” to kill an al-Qaida leader earlier this month.

Khaled al-Aruri died June 14 in a drone strike, American and al-Qaida leaders confirmed according to the New York Times. However, the weapon used to kill him was not a typical drone; al-Aruri met his demise at the hands of the Kinetic Hellfire Missile, a massive piece of metal that deploys 6 helicopter-like blades right before it hits its target.

The Flying Ginsu is equipped with a kinetic warhead, which is essentially a giant weight on the missile that can punch through things like car roofs. The more than 100-pound weapon can dive through buildings and cars and deploy 6 helicopter-like knives to kill a target, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Pictures of cars after they’ve been struck by the missile show the vehicles largely intact, save for the massive hole through the windshield.

EXCLUSIVE: Read All The Highlights From Our Hour-Long Oval Office Interview With President Donald Trump

Trump goes scorched earth on John Bolton

—The president recounted two specific conversations he had with his former National Security Adviser that convinced him Bolton was a “dumb maniac who wants to go to war with anybody that can breathe.”

The first conversation occurred shortly after Bolton’s May 2018 appearance on CBS’ “Face The Nation,” during which Bolton floated using the “Libyan model” on North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un.

The second centered around Bolton’s support for the Iraq War.

Paging Richard Grenell

—Trump heaped praise on the former acting Director of National Intelligence, who took a step back in terms of his responsibilities after John Ratcliffe was confirmed back in May.

Grenell, who had been pulling double duty as DNI and the U.S. Ambassador to Germany, is still serving as the president’s special envoy to Serbia and Kosovo, but the president flat out stated he wanted him back in a cabinet-level position.

Trump on Black America’s “habit” of voting Democrat

—The George Floyd protests represented a boiling point in the country in terms of race relations, and the president expressed concern that no matter what he does, he won’t receive credit for trying to help the black community. He recently signed a police reform executive order and frequently touts his work on criminal justice reform, and he told us that alone should make his approval ratings hit “100 percent.”

In turn, we asked him directly, why not do more to right these racial injustices? Why not invite Black Lives Matter leaders to be a part of the administration’s conversations on race? Why not direct Congress to pass legislation making Juneteenth a federal holiday?

Going to bat for conservative companies and websites

—The president opened our conversation expressing great concern for activist-led advertiser boycotts against conservative voices.

Trump accused the boycotters of playing “a much dirtier game” but he criticized conservatives for not employing similar tactics. He said he empathizes with the companies facing the boycotts because “reporters from The Washington Post” and others often “harass” people that plan events at his facilities.

Ultimately, he vowed to personally “get involved” in criminalizing the act.

Breaking up internet monopolies

—We pushed the president to list some potential second term initiatives. After Trump reflected on another push to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program the completion of his southern border wall, the conversation turned to big tech.

Trump signaled support for modernizing anti-trust laws, especially for how they apply to internet-based companies, but suggested the act could have negative blowback on normal people who own stock in those companies.

Mediator in chief

—China and India are currently locked in their deadliest border dispute on the past 50 years.

As the bodies stack up on both sides, Trump told us he’d spoken to both Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi about serving as a “mediator” in the conflict.

What will it take for the U.S. to become directly involved?

On coronavirus, specific governors made “tragic mistakes…”

—It’s no secret that nursing home deaths make up over 40 percent of all coronavirus fatalities across the nation’s various hotspots.

Certain governors, like California’s Gavin Newsom and Florida’s Ron DeSantis, moved quickly to protect vulnerable populations. Others, like Andrew Cuomo in New York, did the opposite. We asked the president to assess moves from those governors, and his answers were grim.

Could the deaths have been avoided?

HIS RESPONSE…

CHAZ explained

—Trump has vowed for nearly two weeks to take back Seattle with federal assets if Washington Governor Jay Inslee doesn’t act.

We asked POTUS what counsel Attorney General Bill Barr had given him in terms of actually moving to retake the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, and his answer caught us totally off guard.

“RIGHT NOW, I THINK…”
