James Comey miniseries moved to air before 2020 election after director complains

Under pressure from the cast and crew, ViacomCBS moved up the scheduled release of the Showtime miniseries based on former FBI Director James Comey's memoir. The reversal came after Bill Ray, the director of the two-part, four-hour miniseries wrote a letter to cast members last week to express frustration that the series was scheduled to air in November, days after the 2020 election, according to the New York Times. Ray lamented to the cast that he completed the project with the expectation that it would air before the election. "We all were hoping to get this story in front of the American people months before the coming election," reads the letter, as reported by Deadline. "Word started drifting back to me that a decision about our airdate had been made at the very highest levels of Viacom: all talk of our airing before the election was suddenly a 'non-starter.' I and my fellow producers asked for a chance to plead our case on the matter, but we were told that even the discussion itself was a 'non-starter' … Why? I don’t know," Ray wrote.

On Wednesday, Showtime said in a statement that the project is now scheduled to air on Sept. 27 and 28. Showtime's The Comey Rule, based on the former FBI director's memoir, A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership, was teased earlier this month by the company after it shared ominous photographs of actors Brendan Gleeson as President Trump and Jeff Daniels, star of Dumb and Dumber, as the former FBI director. Comey was fired by Trump in May 2017. Other characters in the show include former acting Attorney General Sally Yates, former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and special counsel Robert Mueller, who investigated Russian interference in the 2016 election. The first part of the miniseries will depict the early days of the Russia investigation, the FBI's investigation into failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's emails, and Trump's 2016 election victory. The second will show the interactions between Comey and Trump, a day-by-day account of the first several months of the Trump presidency from Comey's perspective.

The BLM Founder Who Begged Allah For Strength Not To ‘Kill Sub Human Whites’ Received a Government Award ‘Encouraging A Run For Public Office’

A Black Lives Matter organizer who implored Allah to give her the “strength” to not “kill these men and white folks” and that “white skin is sub-humxn” received an award from the Canadian government meant to encourage a “run for public office.”

The unearthed comments from Yusra Khogali follows co-founders of the U.S. branch of Black Lives Matter (BLM) being exposed by The National Pulse for vowing to oppose capitalism and claiming “we’re trained Marxists.” The tweet – no longer on the social media platform – read: “Plz Allah give me strength to not cuss/kill these men and white folks out here today. Plz plz plz.”

Khogali, an alleged “anti-racist” activist and founder of the Black Liberation Collective Canada, only had one qualm with the tweet: it “drowned out the discussion we sought to spark about the black lives of those who have died at the guns of police in this country.” The daughter of Sudanese refugees has also insisted white people are “recessive genetic defects” who should be “wiped out,” that “whiteness is not humxness,” and “white skin is sub-humxn” in 2015 Facebook posts. Despite these clearly racist attacks, Khogali received a Canadian government-sanctioned “Young Women in Leadership Award” in 2018. Recipients of the awards are connected with “women interested in politics with female leaders on council and in the civil service,” and “the program is meant to encourage women to run for public office. Khogali has also been invited to speak at countless universities. While BLM has turned increasingly violent in the wake of George Floyd’s death – tearing down historic statues and monuments nationwide – it appears this radical leaning has long been a lifeblood for the movement. Embodying a quintessentially Alinskyite tactic – to accuse the other side of that which you are guilty – BLM’s accusation of racism in white people pale in comparison to the racism entrenched in their movement.

That's my thought..digging on them (Obama's) seems to have been sanitized most things require deep searches now. Thinking Biden has Obama campaigning for him now, so there is the possibility of having BM step in and to go on a deeper limb here…Hillary the running mate..

Laverne Cox, Kamala Harris Push to Defund Police: More Cops on Streets Is ‘Just Wrong’

Transgender Hollywood star Laverne Cox and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) pushed for the defunding of the police in a joint appearance Thursday on Watch What Happens Live, during which Sen. Harris said that putting more cops on the streets is “just wrong.” Laverne Cox expressed her enthusiasm about the Defund the Police movement in the virtual conversation. “The fact that there’s a national conversation about defunding the police, I think is remarkable. And that people of all races are having that conversation is really exciting to me.”

Host Andy Cohen asked Sen. Harris to give her take on defunding the police. The senator, who served as California’s attorney general before being elected to Congress, said that the movement is really about “reimagining public safety.” “For far too long, the status quo thinking has been to believe that to put more police on the street, you’re going to have more safety. And that’s just wrong. That’s not how it works,” she said, prompting Cox to nod in agreement. Sen. Harris said that upper middle class neighborhoods that are predominantly white tend to have lower crime without a larger police presence. She said those neighborhoods benefit from better schools, economic stability, and access to mental health care. “We have to reimagine how we achieve public safety,” she said. A growing list Hollywood stars is backing the Defund the Police movement. Celebrities including John Legend, Natalie Portman, Susan Sarandon, Lizzo, Jane Fonda, Emily Ratajkowski, Kendrick Sampson, and Taraji P. Henson.

Indeed..I truly believe his current "condition" was all planned right down to the book Jill wrote about him, which described him having several brain aneurysms, that book came out well before he announced he was running for office. Thinking all of his demons are coming home to roost and he knows it all to well.

Vatican Rejects Gender Fluidity in New Catechetical Text

ROME — People’s “gender identity” is given to them by God and is directly tied to their biological sex, the Vatican has declared in a major catechetical text published this week.

A fundamental problem with modern gender theory is that it denies a core biblical truth, namely that God creates human beings “male and female,” states the new, 300-page Directory for Catechesis published by the Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization. “Gender identity, according to this position, is no longer an original fact that the person must embrace and fill with meaning, but a social construction that is decided independently, totally detached from biological sex,” the document warns. A sound anthropology is based on a recognition of the truth of human nature, the text insists, which is not the product of human will but of divine creation. In modern gender theory, the person “denies his nature and decides that he creates it himself,” the text continues. “According to the biblical account of creation, however, man was created by God as male and female.” This does not negate real psychological problems of gender dysphoria, the Vatican acknowledges, but these issues should not lead to a denial of human nature.

The Church is well aware of the complexity of personal situations that are lived sometimes in a conflictive way,” the document states. “She does not judge people, but offers to accompany them always and in any situation.” “Nonetheless, she is aware that, from a perspective of faith, sexuality is not only a physical fact, but a personal reality, a value entrusted to the responsibility of the person,” the Vatican declares. “In this way, sexual identity and existential experience must be a response to God’s original call.” The new Directory echoes the sharp criticism of gender theory voiced by Pope Francis over the years, which has earned him the derision of many LGBT activists. In 2016, the pope published a lengthy teaching text on marriage and the family called The Joy of Love (Amoris Laetitia) in which he underscored the unique value of motherhood and fatherhood, neither of which is dispensable or replaceable with a unisex version of “parent.” In that document, Francis slammed gender theory for its denial of “the difference and reciprocity in nature of a man and a woman,” and for its dream of “a society without sexual differences.” “An appreciation of our body as male or female,” he said, is “necessary for our own self-awareness in an encounter with others different from ourselves.” Efforts to cancel out sexual differences based in anatomy are a symptom of a sick society that “no longer knows how to deal” with sexual differentiation, he wrote. The following year the pope issued a similar condemnation, denouncing what he called the “unisex utopia” of the LGBT lobby.

Princeton Removes Woodrow Wilson’s Name from Public Policy School Due to ‘Racist Thinking’

Princeton University is removing President Woodrow Wilson’s name from its public policy school and a residential college due to the former president’s “racist thinking.” “The trustees conclude that Woodrow Wilson’s racist thinking and policies make him an inappropriate namesake for a school or college whose scholars, students, and alumni must firmly stand against racism in all its forms,” announced Princeton University President Christopher Eisgruber on Saturday. “Wilson’s racism was significant and consequential even by the standards of his own time,” added Eisgruber. “He segregated the federal civil service after it had been racially integrated for decades, thereby taking America backward in its pursuit of justice.” The board voted on Friday to change the names of both the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and Wilson College. The Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs will now be named “The Princeton School of Public and International Affairs.”

As for Wilson College, Eisgruber claimed that the university was already planning on closing the college, but now the school will instead “accelerate retirement of the name” so that students won’t have to “identify with the name of a racist president for the next two years.” Now, Wilson College will instead be called “First College.” “Wilson’s segregationist policies make him an especially inappropriate namesake for a public policy school,” Eisgruber pointed out in his statement. “When a university names a school of public policy for a political leader, it inevitably suggests that the honoree is a model for students who study at the school,” continued the university president. “This searing moment in American history has made clear that Wilson’s racism disqualifies him from that role,” added Eisgruber of the former Democrat president. The university president went on to say that Princeton honoring Wilson makes the university “ultimately the problem” with America today, and even suggested that in retaining Wilson’s name, the school is facilitating an environment in America that makes people believe they can behave like former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin without facing any consequences. “Princeton is part of an America that has too often disregarded, ignored, or excused racism, allowing the persistence of systems that discriminate against Black people,” said Eisgruber. “When Derek Chauvin knelt for nearly nine minutes on George Floyd’s neck while bystanders recorded his cruelty, he might have assumed that the system would disregard, ignore, or excuse his conduct, as it had done in response to past complaints against him,” he added. The university president concluded by stating that these are not the only steps Princeton is taking to “combat the realities and legacy of racism, but they are important ones.” “The steps taken yesterday by the Board of Trustees are extraordinary measures,” said Eisgruber.
