often if History slaves had a choice.
they could etiehr be moral peple and deal, or they could become 'warriors' for the . . . . . . who would send them to other nations to earn a
'stack'.
so they went out pilageing and murdering Christians and others, concorting and declaring a 'golden age' destroying history, and being the bullys of the Turks and Ottomans.
they were the bad people. The Muslim Ottoman slaves were the bad people.
but now we are prevented by taboos from discussing the murderous rampages of various tribes of drugged up Muslims over the centuries.
The fact of being a slave doesn't make you 'good'. It doesn't give you virtue. It might have been a way for someone to learn and grow.
but the fact is that often the worst types became slaves because . . . they screwed over everyone else and they had no other options.

But , for example, Perl Jam. That was some LA person hiring people to be a 'grunge' band.
someone decided that 'hair bands' were through.
all at once they simply stopped playing it on the radio.
there were pepole in Seatle area who had already rejected the hair bands and had the new sound of this almost parady of music, but there was a real sound there. and they had a dance scene. It wasn't Punk, where pepole might get slammed against a wall, and it wasn't 'hair bands' where gay guys pretened to be straight with giant hair and played guitars, and performed, at times, satanic rituals veiled wiht in their performance (some of the worst ones did).
Nirvana was lucky in some sense to have hit so big. Part of the reason was that the three of them were based in what the media really was and how they the band would be manipulated. Nirvana had councilors, insiders who had already made the fame (very very famous) and gave them really good advice (I heard this from a friend who knew them when . . .)
so that was it.
but Kurts cronic pain drew him easily into the pain pills, which, according to others, was really frowned on by all around him but . . . they believe in free will and freedom, and weren't immune from party behavior (just not every day) and let kurt be kurt.
He drew ever more distant from them as he used the heroin to ease the other deal (that we aren't told about that he had to endure, according to some reports, and scenes from video where he shows you the bag.)
so thats my little secret thing I know but there is more that I won't share that was just speculation.
OH: and PS: people loved him and were totally destroyed by his . . . exit.
and: we knew he was woke and enjoyed watchin Nirvana play the music industry like violins and Red pill the young people savoy enough to try and comprehend Kurts art and Nirvana's art.
so even if you weren't a fan of the 'sound' you could still enjoy that the bad was successful as it was. And everytime I"d hear kurt, he was always trolling someone and having great success at it.
He could have been a PR person.

here is a very hard thing to tell a person who bases their personal interactive narrative upon the idea of their ancestors being freed slaves: the fact of being descendant from a slave lends you no special virtue. It's pretty much the case of every human in the world. And, in fact, it neither absolves you from having to try harder, and be nicer; nor does it allow you to claim 'reparations' without specific people in mind. and only going so far back in time. And all of those people are dead now so . . . you need to move along.
again: being a slave descendant gives you no virtue, and aids nothing to the quality of your character. It did to them.
