Impeachment is done by the House. Removal is done by the Senate. If they try to do either one, half of this country will probably say "fuck it" to our laws and politicians.
One of my black Dem friends decided not to pay her rent this month. She's struggling to afford a middle class lifestyle working a full-time plus a part-time job. She's tired of having no extra money left after paying bills and taxes. This was her way of saying "fuck it" to the system so she could feel some comfort even though she'll be penalized monetarily for doing so. I suspect a good percentage of the population are pretty close to their "fuck it" line. It won't take much to cause a massive chain reaction.
