Biblically speaking, you're not supposed to swear oaths (bad).
"Let your yes be yes and no be no."
Something like that.
So if you're going to defend the Constitution, say you'll do it, and that's that.
Tell Patriots you have their backs through thick and thin (if you want).
Don't make oaths about it (if you care about what the Bible says).
James 5:12
But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath; but your yes is to be yes, and your no, no, so that you may not fall under judgment.
