any number of Hollywood scripts can sell anyone on the idea that sacrificing one's own life to save the lives of others is a noble thing, but the creator of the universe can't? I didn't write the program. I don't know why that's a/the thing. I don't know why lots of things are. My ignorance on the matter is irrelevant.
