Call me cynical, but what's going to change after November?

R's need a net gain of 17 to flip the House.

D's need 4 seats to flip the house assuming Trump wins.

If both chambers flip I can see momentum build but what if R's win the house but lose the Senate? Then what can be done after November that can't be done now?

In any case, seats aren't changed over until Jan 20th, 2021. So I won't expect any real action until Feb 2021 and beyond.
