In a moment of divine comedy, a potential vandal took a major fall while attempting to climb the statue of St. Louis IX.

The leftist criminal mobs have been targeting the statue of King Louis IX of France which is located in front of the Saint Louis Art Museum in Forest Park as part of their larger effort to erase our history and culture.

In a hilarious video of the incident posted to Twitter, a criminal is seen making it nearly to the top of pedestal before being struck down.

That had to hurt.

On Saturday a far left mob attacked a group of Christians that had gathered at the statue to pray the rosary which was organized by the Gateway Pundit.

Nearly 300 NYPD Officers File for Retirement as Violent Crime Surges

Close to 300 New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers have filed for retirement over the last month amid riots against the police and as violent crime keeps surging.

According to figures released to the New York Post, about 272 NYPD uniformed officers have filed for retirement since riots over the death of Minneapolis resident George Floyd began in late May. At the same time last year, about 183 officers had filed for retirement, indicating a nearly 50 percent spike in retirements this year.

One officer, who wanted to wait to retire until he hit 30 years with the NYPD, told the Post “It’s an all-out war on cops and we have no support.” More than 300 officers were injured in the recent riots.

Mayor Bill de Blasio has vowed to cut funding to the NYPD and Commissioner Dermot Shea has announced the disbanding of the city’s 600-officer undercover anti-crime unit that was responsible for keeping shootings and violent crime down.

The exodus from the NYPD comes as violent crime in New York City keeps surging, partially thanks to the state’s bail reform policy that eliminates bail for most nonviolent crimes and many violent crimes.

Murder has increased by nearly 50 percent in New York City over the last month compared to the same time last year. Likewise, burglaries have spiked more than 122 percent and grand larceny auto has increased more than 56 percent.

In the last week, shootings in New York City have increased by more than 341 percent, with a 414 percent increase in shooting victims compared to the same time in 2019.

NYPD Detective: Eliminating Undercover Police Officers Will Be ‘Demise’ of NYC

A retiring New York City Police Department (NYPD) detective says the department’s recent elimination of undercover, plainclothes police officers will “be the demise” of New York City.

Two weeks ago, amid riots against law enforcement, NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea announced that the city would be disbanding its anti-crime, plainclothes officer unit and reassigning those 600 officers to new units within the department.

Shea acknowledged that the plainclothes officers were critical in getting illegal guns off the streets.

In an interview with the New York Post‘s Tina Moore, a retiring NYPD detective with 20 years at the department said the elimination of the anti-crime, plainclothes officer unit will lead to more crime and violence across New York City.

The detective told the Post:

That is going to be the demise of the city.

Anti-crime guys are the guys are the guys who the real bad guys are looking out for. Anti-crime guys are going to drive around in not just unmarked cars. They’ll come around in other cars, rentals that the city gets that you wouldn’t think are police cars.

When you’re a really bad guy, and I’m talking about really bad guys, who won’t think twice about taking another life. When they step out of the car, those were the cops who they are afraid of.

The detective also slammed Mayor Bill de Blasio for having “absolutely no idea what policing is,” specifically in the city’s crime-ridden neighborhoods. This month, de Blasio vowed to cut funding to the NYPD in a move praised by advocates of the “Defund the Police” movement.

As Breitbart News reported, there were eight separate shootings across Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens that left 11 victims injured. In the last week, New York City has seen close to 60 shootings with at least 81 shooting victims.

The detective said the shootings are skyrocketing because violent criminals “are out there carrying guns freely now — without fear.”

In the last week, there has been a more than 340 percent increase in shootings in New York City with a more than 400 percent increase in shooting victims compared to the same time last year. Over the last month, shootings have increased 86 percent with a 101 percent increase in shooting victims.

Biden VP Hopeful Rep. Karen Bass in Hot Water for Praise of Castro

What is it about radical leftists and their love affair with murderous thugs like Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez? Is it that they’re virulently anti-American or is it a secret admiration of them for murdering their political opponents?

Rep. Karen Bass (D-Calif.) is a non-descript, non-entity in the House, not known for pushing any important legislation. But Joe Biden has recently put her in the limelight by apparently considering her for the second spot on the Democratic ticket.

Her qualifications include the fact that she’s a woman and she’s black. That should be enough these days to put her close to the top of Biden’s VP list.

But Bass is an admirer of former Cuban dictator Fidel Castro. And that won’t sit well with a lot of voters in Florida and other places where Communism is still seen as an evil ideology.

Fox News:

U.S. Rep. Karen Bass, a Los Angeles Democrat who heads the Congressional Black Caucus, referred to Castro as “comandante en jefe” after he died in 2016 – and called his passing “a great loss to the people of Cuba,” Politico reported.

The phrase Bass used translates to “commander in chief.”

No doubt Castro was mourned more by American leftists than the Cuban people. And that includes Bass.

It should be noted that Rep. Donna Shalala, (D-Fla.) and Miami state Rep. Javier Fernandez — both Florida Democrats — did not think much of Bass’s pro-Castro sentiments.

Both Shalala and Fernandez represent an area with a high number of exiles from communist and socialist regimes in Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua – a constituency that has a history of opposing candidates who express even the slightest amount of sympathy for Castro, who ruled in Cuba as president until 2008 and as Communist Party leader until 2011 before dying five years later at age 90.

“I disagree with the Congresswoman’s comments on Cuba. I invite people to come to Miami where we can educate them on the tyrannical dictatorship that has decimated Cuba for 60 years,” Shalala, who served in former President Bill Clinton’s administration, told Politico.

Sen. Fernandez was even more direct.

“The comments are troubling,” Fernandez told the outlet. “It shows a lack of understanding about what the Castro regime was about. So I have to learn more about her position and perspective on Fidel Castro.

“Praise like the one that was given by Bass at the time of Castro’s death is inconsistent with my family’s experience with what the regime did — and continues to do — to people on the island, which is to suppress human rights, keep people under a totalitarian thumb and stifle economic growth.”

Until the Communist yoke is thrown off the Cuban people, the economy will be a basket case, freedoms will be limited, and dictators will rule. Not realizing that is reason enough to keep Bass from coming anywhere near the White House.

'I have done nothing wrong': NSW MP Shaoquett Moselmane speaks for first time since ASIO raids

NSW upper house MP Shaoquett Moselmane has spoken for the first time since ASIO and Australian Federal Police raided his Sydney home on Friday over suspicions of foreign interference.

In a statement, Mr Moselmane said he was"not a suspect"in the investigation and has cooperated fully with investigators.

"I am under no illusion that this is a serious investigation," Mr Moselamen said.

"The first of its time, precedents will be set and lives changed. Sadly, the political lynching has already commenced. Let me tell you, I have done nothing wrong. I have done nothing wrong.

"I have never jeopardised the welfare of our country and our people."

The raids were allegedly over an investigation as to whether China was exerting influence on Mr Moselmane's office via his staffers.

There is no suggestion the allegations against Mr Moselmane are true or proven, only that they are under investigation.

Demonstrations in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Beersheba held after annual celebrations scrapped due to pandemic; 27 far-right protesters arrested in advance as precaution

Thousands of Israelis attended LGBT protest-rallies in four major cities across the country Sunday evening in lieu of annual pride parades that were canceled this year due to the coronavirus.

The events, held under tight security, were punctuated by small far-right and far-left counter-protests. Dozens of far-right activists suspected of planning to disrupt the Jerusalem event were arrested by police earlier on Sunday.

The demonstrations in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa and Beersheba represented the peak of a month of events marking Pride that were organized by the Aguda Association for LGBTQ Equality in Israel under the theme, “The revolution is not yet complete.”

That message was highlighted at each of the rallies, where speakers lamented the inability for single men and gay couples from using surrogacy to have children. Earlier Sunday, ministers vetoed a proposal from opposition lawmaker Idan Roll (Blue and White) aimed at reversing the policy.

In February, the High Court of Justice struck down the controversial law that blocks the practice and gave the Knesset a year to pass a new law.

Far-right activists arrested ahead of Jerusalem gathering

The lead-up to the demonstration in Jerusalem included arrests of large numbers of far-right activists, as well as a spat between organizers and the municipality over hanging up pride flags throughout the city to mark the occasion.

In a Facebook post hours ahead of the rally, the Israel Religious Action Center accused authorities of walking back their agreement to hang dozens of pride flags across Jerusalem as is done annually in cities across the country. IRAC said that only five flags were ultimately hung up, in “another attempt by the municipality to silence and erase the LGBT community.”

Netanyahu: Annexation will advance peace, not set it back

Netanyahu noted that Trump's plan "doesn't uproot a single Jew or Arab" from their homes.

WASHINGTON – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday night that “applying Israeli law to areas of Judea and Samaria that will remain part of Israel in any future peace deal will not set back the cause of peace, it will advance peace.”

The prime minister addressed the virtual summit of Christians United for Israel (CUFI) in a video message, a few days before July 1, the date in which Israel could legally move forward with its plan to annex parts of the West Bank.

Avi Berkowitz, the US special representative for international negotiations, is visiting Israel to meet with Netanyahu and Alternate Prime Minister and Defense Minister Benny Gantz to discuss a few possible scenarios.

Netanyahu called on the Palestinians to embrace US President Donald Trump's vision for the Middle East.

“I encourage the Palestinians not to lose another opportunity, not to waste another century, trying to destroy Israel,” he said. “They should sit down and negotiate in good faith. They should be prepared to negotiate a historic compromise that can bring peace to Israelis and Palestinians alike. Israel is prepared for such negotiations. I am prepared for such negotiations.”

He said that he believes that many Arab states in the region are hoping that Israel and the Palestinians enter such negotiations.

“I worked hard over the past decade to deepen ties with Israel's Arab neighbors, many of whom don't have formal peace agreements with Israel,” Netanyahu continued. “And as Israel moves forward, I will continue to work to strengthen those ties. I'm confident that together we can build a future of reconciliation and peace.”

Netanyahu noted that Trump's plan "doesn't uproot a single Jew or Arab" from their homes. He added that the plan "confronts a great lie head on – the lie that the Jewish people are foreign colonialists in our own ancestral homeland.

"It makes clear that the Jewish people have a valid, legal, historic and moral claim to Judea in Samaria. And it supports Israel's sovereignty over the Jewish communities there," he said.

The prime minister noted that the sites in Judea and Samaria are an integral part of the historic Jewish homeland.

"After all, we're called Jews because we're the people of Judea," he said. "But these areas are also an integral part of Christian identity. They're a part of your heritage. They're a part of our common civilization. And under Israeli sovereignty, our common heritage will be forever protected. In a region where Christians are on the run and live in fear, Christians in Israel are on the rise and they live in freedom.”

Elon Musk Says Tesla No Longer Receives Federal Government Subsidies

The US-based Tesla car manufacturer has stopped receiving federal tax subsidies, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said.

"Btw, Tesla actually receives least subsidies of any automaker in the US. The federal tax credit applies to other automaker EVs, but no longer Tesla", Musk wrote on Twitter.

Tesla’s cars have been ranked the worst in quality, according to a survey conducted by J.D. Power, US-based data analytics and consumer intelligence company, earlier in the week. Tesla, which is viewed as a leader in the automotive industry, performed the worst among 32 brands. Its vehicles had 250 problems (per 100 cars), while the average number was 166.

Meanwhile, Tesla earned record-high sales of its models manufactured in China in May just five months after the company began producing units at the Gigafactory 3 in Shanghai, media reported in mid-June.

Tesla was founded in 2003 by Musk and has since gone on to become the poster-child of electric cars, producing accessible and practical battery-powered vehicles.
